It always seems like the people from other countries that are convinced the US will break up into separate parts are from countries that aren't much of a melting pot when it comes to different races or ethnicities. Too often they seem to use the reasoning of racial divide as to why we'll break up. Chinese in the west, blah blah blah in the east. While I admit there's still racial division that goes on in the US, I honestly don't think that'll break us up. Economic divide has a strong chance of being the reason. And it won't be white people as the "haves' and blacks/hispanics as the "have-nots". It'll be a melting pot of Americans that get so terribly screwed over by our government and financial institutions.

Hopefully the American people will rally to the effort of rejecting these government atrocities. and when we do it'll be a sea of different colors, not just one.

Sorry guys, I should keep my tone down with motions, I did my homework from this guy and I find out that this man really is one of those great professionals in information wars.

This article is part of propaganda efforts, of course it can be truth too, and his visions real, but what I found, is that this guy is truly "man behind many mans"... Front Runner in Moskow agenda. Look this article...

Moscow Must Gear Up to Fight Information Wars
www.russiaprofile.org...

Panarin, who first attracted widespread attention in the Russian elite with his 2003 book, "Information War and the Third Rome," says that Moscow must "immediately" move to create "a mechanism" to ensure that the Russian media reflect Moscow's interests, to repulse information attacks from abroad and to advance Moscow's interests around the world.

He proposes eight steps to achieve those goals:

First, he calls for the creation of a Russian council on public diplomacy, which Panarin says would include representatives of the government, the media, business, political parties and NGOs and possibly be headed by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

Second, the Diplomatic Academy dean calls for the appointment of an advisor to the president of Russia on information and propaganda activities, in order to coordinate the work in this area of the foreign and cultural ministries, the Security Council and other agencies involved in foreign and domestic media management.

Third, he suggests that Moscow should create a foreign policy government media corporation that would "restore the potential of the [Soviet-era] mechanism of foreign political propaganda which was completely destroyed in the 1990s" and use satellite television to spread Moscow's message across the entire world.

Fourth, Panarin calls for the creation of an analogous institution for the Internet that would oversee "the production of books, video films, video games and other materials for active distribution via the Internet," an effort to be partially financed by the government and partially by business.

Fifth, he calls for the establishment of an anti-crisis information center, which will be able to respond llike a "spetsnaz" unit to developments. The first days of the Georgian war when President Mikhail Saakashvili appeared more often on Russian television than did Russian leaders must not be repeated, Panarin says.

Sixth, he urges setting up a system, not further described in his otherwise detailed article, to respond to "the information operations of the geopolitical opponents of Russia," a structure that would include "the resources of the state as well as those of major business and the institutions of civil society.

Seventh, he calls on Moscow to work to create "a network of NGOs of Russia operating on the territories of the CIS, the European Union and the United States," a network that would follow "the American model" of organizing and supporting NGOs on the territory of the Russian Federation.

And eighth, Panarin says that the Russian government must create a system to train cadres in this area. Among the places which should be involved in that effort are his own Diplomatic Academy, the Russian Academy of State Service (RAGS), Moscow State University, the Higher School of Economics and MGIMO.

This guy really is a pro in propaganda. I think we will hear from mr Panarin many times in future...

Ok, and I should make home works better before I let my motions run, but I have to say that too many times many opinion is doomed just because its Iranian, Syrian or Russian... USA is not anyway better, and there is no meaning for us to choose any sides, but listen all the sides.

Sorry my previous motions... We all have weak moments.

You could be right about propaganda but i'm pretty sure the US politics allready rewied this scenario. If they won't start talking about this in the next year i think it won't happen soon. But still there's huge chance, almost 100%, that this will happen once, even if it does in 2108

Response on the other thread

Won't happen. It's quite a ridiculous theory, to be honest. Why would we break up into smaller parts? Does he really think we are anything like them?

I don't think there is any one state that really cares to be separate from the others (apart from maybe Hawaii and Alaska). There is literally no reason that we'd ever break up at this point.

He says this:

Asked why he expected the U.S. to break up into separate parts, he said: "A whole range of reasons. Firstly, the financial problems in the U.S. will get worse. Millions of citizens there have lost their savings. Prices and unemployment are on the rise. General Motors and Ford are on the verge of collapse, and this means that whole cities will be left without work. Governors are already insistently demanding money from the federal center. Dissatisfaction is growing, and at the moment it is only being held back by the elections and the hope that Obama can work miracles. But by spring, it will be clear that there are no miracles."

We've already been through crises as bad as this and worse, and more than a couple times. Is it possible we've got some rough times ahead? Sure, but there is no evidence to suggest we'd "break up".

This guy sounds like a bit of a nut to me. A claim like that supported with no good evidence... any good economist community would turn their noses up at this report.

The US is on the verge of an economic collapse and the monetary system as it is today will be changed forever. Chances are that most non socialist countries will face the same fate.

Peter Schiff has been right on the penny with all his economic predictions and staid persistent even when laughed at by other analysts. Pull your head out of the sand and OPEN YOUR EYES!

If you think the economy is bad today, wait and see what is around the corner.

I did not read every post in this thread. I do however think that an economic collapse is going to happen, but I don't think there will have to be a break up. A break up has been threatened on many occasions, and it of coarse did happen once, which led to the civil war. But I don't think it has to happen that way again. Other countries have just defaulted on there foreign debt. That would be one way to just start all over again.

Without an outside trigger I don't see that happening....
When I say Trigger I mean something like the Feds marching into the west and confiscating cattle to send back east, Taking control of the big farms in the Midwest and forcing the farmers to produce or risk being kicked out and replaced. Maybe if the east coast started sending all their homeless out to Calif... It would take some major (Stupid) move to alienate a region before you would motivate folks to take that step...

If things ACTUALLY do get bad to the point of rioting, then ya I can see it.
There are alot of different groups and races in America. That alone could boil over to a civil war with many dif groups involved.
Thats just my pompous opinion.
(not a humble one...if I was humble I woulda never gave my opinion)

Well considering the fact that Washington is soon to be 15 trillion dollars in debt You might want to consider this a possibility. I have never in my life seen a more devisive election as this one and people were attacked for not supporting one or the other canidate. We have president that wants to institute a national draft, take peoples 401K's & IRA's, another 5% retirement tax on top of social security, 5 cent tax on each bullet, & the possibility of tacking peoples arms. Plus We are looking at a possibility of war with Iran & Pakistan which could lead to WW3. So with all the above I can easily see states leaving the union to get away from the federal government. The economic problems are not going to help either when 25% of Americans are out of work and pissed off especially if the scrap the dollar causing people to loose their savings over night. If You haven't noticed the country is devided on political lines with some people wanting personal accountability and individualism while the other group wants socialism and colectivism.

I personally think the south shall rise again but thats my opinion.

HA.

That was a funny read. Chinese will take over California, Oregon, Washington, and Vancouver. Well maybe Vancouver.....wait they got that after the Brits gave back Hong Kong. haha

And then the Mexicans will take over Texas....I bet those Texans are scared!!

the South, with its Hispanics; Texas, where independence movements are on the rise

And the east, because they are so queer...no wait

the Atlantic coast, with its distinct and separate mentality...
HAHAHAHA

That is funny as hell!

hey hey hey we here in calif have plenty of our own homeless thank you. the problem with the dollar is huge, but compared to other currencies right now it's the best of the bad.

the problem with gold and silver is that you can't have large transactions globally to do any type of business. what.... would you walk into a mortgage company and lay down 400 ounces of gold for a $320,000 house? you need approx. 80,000 pounds or 40 tons of gold for every billion dollars transacted. this is why you need currency. and if you go back in history, there has been many ways of trying to grow economies using precious metals and they all have simply failed with devastating effects. fiat money is bad, agreed, but come up with a better way (of course with details) and i'm sure someone will listen.

I wouldn't rule this out for the simple fact that our current economy is nationalized due to our current transparent monetary system and our nationalized transportation infrastructure.

If either of those systems were to break down our economy would change in a radical and major way.

Just look at what has transpired recently with the impact of the credit crisis.

Without a line of credit available to a shipping company means that items such as food from California aren't going to be shipped/trucked to supermarkets in the rest of the country.

People can't get car loans aren't buying cars so they're sitting on docks. The salespeople who were selling those cars now have little or no income.
The local sandwich shop relied upon lunch time business to the dealership's sales staff no longer can remain in business/or is placing fewer orders for food.

If the US were to default on it's debt, then the dollar would collapse.

What do you think would happen if the Dollar suddenly collapsed ?
It would be very similar but even worse.

Our economy would freeze and all transactions including shipping would stop.
If the Govt. could no longer pay our military and police if their checks bounced, then we'd begin to have lawlessness.

Similarly to what we see in third world countries. We'd have militias or highway bandits with their AR-15's hijacking truckers which would begin to create shortages in food and energy resulting in stymieing our shipping dependent national economy.

With gas going up due to the shortages in deliveries and the store shelves empty due to the lack of trucking deliveries, only local food would be available, raising demand and prices. People would trade/barter on a local level keeping the money spent/traded on a local level vs a national one.

This would change our country and could potentially lead to the regionalization of our country based upon the economic strength of various regions of the US.

This is why I don't doubt the "Conspiracy Theorists" and the NWO North American Union hypothesis.

If people became hungry and destitute enough, they'd be willing to accept almost any agenda to resolve their destitution.

Especially us Americans, most of whom, have never gone hungry in our lives.

He even suggested that "we could claim Alaska - it was only granted on lease, after all." Panarin, 60, is a professor at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and has authored several books on information warfare.

They could claim Alaska? Whats stopping them? After all he claim it was on a lease.

This sounds similar to a bunch of socialists back in the 30s hoping for a revolution of the U.S. while it was on Depression.

There has been many predictions that the U.S. will collapse and breakup in the last 100 years and not yet have done so.

Anyways I predict that Russia will get smaller and breakup more.

I don't see that happening anytime soon. There really isn't that much of a sense of 'unity' in my state. The state I live in could easily split regionally based on politics, but it hasn't happened and probably never will.

Actually, the exact opposite of what he predicts may occur, if the new Administration is serious about making the US energy independent. Once that happens, which may be 15 years away, the US becomes more self sufficient than virtually any country on earth. New, cleaner, more efficient energy would yield huge savings, and if the auto companies can get their act together, new jobs would be created, not just in the auto industry, but in energy, and many ancillary industries. In the meantime, there certainly would be some hard times, but I don't think that the government OR the citizens would allow a breakup of the US. The consequences of that would be catastrophic for all. A self-sufficient country would be that goods could be produced in the US again, while countries like China, that export dangerous goods to the United States, would suffer. In addition, with the wake-up call already in the US, hopefully attitudes would change, to produce quality goods. Although I am not a fan of Obama, if he is serious and can make significant progress with alternative energy sources, there is hope.

I needed that laugh.

OK Here we go, The US will fall apart. I mean come on some, of the stuff that is mentioned is pure rubbish. If this is the best they can do they are not living in the real world and truly do not understand the US at all.

OK here is my prediction. MARK MY WORDS!

Sometime in the next 10 YEARS the price of oil will go back up!

It is in fact not that unlikely that the u.s. could begin to disintegrate.

If a civil war were to erupt, that would undoubtedly be the catalyst.

It is not necessarily racial tensions, but it is the economic collapse and impending serfdom of U.S. citizens that may cause a civil war. Many people will lose faith in the government if they keep making the wrong decisions for the people only to increase their power and get richer. In which case, some government officials could turn against the agency they work for, if they were to somehow gain some morals, such as the FBI or CIA. If people are rallying against the government, then the defectors of the government and the military will join up with them.

They would be massively outnumbered and outdone in technology and weapons, but if there are defectors from the federal government positions, it could have quite an impact.

The government is running this country into the ground, and have been doing so for years, with the backing of the bankers, who have the true control.

If it keeps going the way it is and has been, I could see in the somewhat near future revolt and rebellion, possibly leading to civil war and seccession from the Union, as the Federal government is taking too much power and not following the constitution by eliminating the fed.

Look at Obama's secretary of treasury; the head of the Fed in New York. Litteraly a guy who has been at the frontlines of the economic crisis for years, forcing all of these bailouts and actions that have Guess What- not fixed the problem AT ALL, but made it worse.

Ill quit ranting now but to all of you out there who think this is not in any way possible, I feel sorry for you.

the analysis is good , even indian and serbian astrologers are predicting USA will break down into smaller states..

www.astrologyinserbia.com...

Nikola Stojanovic, a famous serbian astrologer(famous in europe) is renowned like russian astrologer Pavel Globa((famous in the world) ,and indian astrologer Rajjat Nayyar(famous in India and the middle east) ,

many astrologers believe that that nation with the genetic horoscope to destroy USA and win in any kind of war(nuclear, conventional, economic) is RUSSIA .

However, their Mars has one unfavourable aspect i.e. square with Neptune which will prevent them from achieving their goal. In astrology, Neptune rules ESPIONAGE, which means that their enemies will always be informed about their military plans; Neptune symbolises HIDING. Thus, every American enemy able to hide will win the war. The only war Americans have lost in the recent history is the VIETNAM WAR. In that war the Vietnamese were able to perfectly hide in their dense jungles;
( similarly, during the Kosovo war, the great Serbian General Pavkovic successfully put out of sight our military hardware and staff –maybe this is the major reason for the Hague Tribunal wanting him); Neptune also symbolises GERILLA WAR, and the Vietnamese chose the right military tactics to beat Americans. Neptune also symbolises VIRUSES, BACTERIA… In astrology, the entire mankind receives the DIVINE ENERGY from Neptune and every army having the true belief in GOD is able to win the war against Americans. In addition, Neptune means SECRET. So, a nation possessing SECRET armament will also beat Americans. To conclude, a nation utilising the ENTIRE symbolic of NEPTUNE in war against America will prevent it from achieving its goal – supremacy over the entire world.
The nation which is in its genetic horoscope born under the sign of PISCES ruled by Neptune is RUSSIA.

Conflict with Russia

A sportsman friend of mine told me once when we discussed the global politics»…Well, sooner or later, it’s going to reach the FINALS…«..he certainly felt that an open conflict is bound to happen between America and Russia. This is supported by the horoscope of America. Their Mars (war) squares (clash) Neptune (Russia). It has been already openly discussed by the Americans. For some time now, a STRATEGIST Zbignjev Bzerzinski on his geopolitical lectures has been stating that »..Russia has too huge a territory …global centre will be in Euro-Asia… and the like...« The way this conflict will start can be seen in the horoscope of the new Russian state.

AMERICA The empire which will COLLAPSE
the day a black man takes the leadership

»It is beyond any doubt that in the second half of the 20 century the USA became the most powerful country in the world. The fascinating thing is (like it or not) that they gained this power in less than 200 years of their existence. My first thought as an astrologer was that they must have had a powerful horoscope. However, I was puzzled when I saw the horoscope of America...
www.astrologyinserbia.com...

Beginning of America’s decline

Their decline starts exactly from the moment the current President Bush comes to power. He was born on July 6, 1946 at 7hours 26min(72W55, 41N18), EDT, +4:00 under Cancer, Ascendant Leo. His Sun (power) is at the twelfth house symbolizing LOSS, which means that in the course of his rule his country will start loosing its supremacy which had been so wisely, patiently and calculatedly gained. The stone of power (Saturn in the tenth house) has started to roll downhill...
Saturn (loss) in the tenth house (power) in Libra (colours) square (unfavourable aspect) Sun (power again) tells us that America will loose power when a coloured man is elected President...It can be perceived even now that the current President is surrounded by a lot of coloured people, hence the decline has already started.

The end of America

America

The fourth house of America’s horoscope tells us about the end of America. This hose begins in Aries (war) where Mars in Gemini is the ruler of this house (ruler Mercury -fragmentation), which means that war will be waged on their territory and America will be divided into a lot of minor states….
www.astrologyinserbia.com...

AND THIS PREDICTION WAS MADE ON 04.08.1997 PARTICULARLY 'AMERICA The empire which will COLLAPSE
the day a black man takes the leadership'

Obama is a Black man ,

bye bye USA you are doomed to destruction
