There is an apparent pain free patch being developed by Nanobioscience.

It's a way of delivering water-soluble drugs locally or systemically through the "micropores" it makes in the skin and it works continuously when it's stuck to you. The pores collapse quickly when the patch is removed, lessening the chances of infection.

You may instantly think "Ouch!" but since these are so small and pierce the skin shallow enough to avoid pain receptors, the system is apparently painless.

It sounds amazing for medicinal purposes however my worry is the malicious uses that the Government could use these patches for. A completely painless way of delivering drugs constantly into a persons body? I think it's a little too perfect of an idea to pass up for anyone looking for a simple way to spread a bio-weapon.

What do you all think, could this ultimately be the way bio-weapons could be spread or is it a harmless new alternative for people who are scared of needles?

Oh wow! Great find!!!

I am personally afraid of needles, so this would be a pretty awesome thing if it were to become used all over.

Think of the kids who could actually go get their "shots" from the doctor and for once, not be scared to go!

I think it's a great idea, but I also see your point about it being used for negative things... but can't that be said for about 90% of all things in this world? If people want to use it for evil, then they will find a way.

Lets hope this doen't become one of those things!

I always hope for the best with things like this for sure. I could see it making great strides in enhancing long term treatment possibilities for patients and maybe even extending the quality of life for people not too far in the future... Its amazingly exciting overall.

I just wish that the malicious ideas didn't creep into my head so often, my first thought when i saw the article was "great, a painless way to distribute mind control drugs and chemical weapons"
