Being ex-military, I'd say it's part of the joint forces agreement they have. To police the others territory should the need arise, be it terrorism, or any other -ism that they try to blame it on.

You see. It is much easier to apply force to someone distant from you. And being a citizen of another country is pretty distant.

How many so-called MPs are there? Probably made ordinary troops Mil Police by the sounds of it. If that's the case, why would they have troops acting like Police. Yes, they will be given the power of YOUR police, or more. Scary.

Absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. In fact Canadian troops go to Texas for about a month long exercise as part of the work up training for deployment to Afghanistan. We go down drink your Tequila, spit out your weak a## water you call beer, and try to convince you that Hockey is the greatest sport in the world.

Here is an extrapolation of a (mostly not) possible future

Here is the elite strike force that have been assigned to penetrate the USA defenses and distribute drugs and Carmel candies. Notice the bike mounted candy basket and rear facing gun - indicating that we have already penetrated behind your lines. Americans thought they were just their own
Michigan Militia and let them pass.

*The invasion ends peacefully, cultural hilarity ensues :

*I hope I have provided an apt compilation of pictorial datums pertaining to how any Canadian invasion of the US might occur and quickly end.

Harper just signed the SPP. Troops here can enter the states and vice versa.
