Barack Obama's win in the US presidential election is momentous but it is about America and because it took Americans 230 years after independence and 150 years after the Civil War to send an American-African to the White House. For Americans it seems to be the triumph of hope, and exult they must. After eight years of attempts at regime change the world over, the Republicans had handed over a regime change at home.

Rest in peace Bush ! Obama is here. His victory has been a paradigm for the US. He sold dreams and change and people lapped it up.

America has finally shown the door to racism and now we would see a rise in participation of blacks in American politics.

Obama is very clear on the issues dear to US today like economy, war on terror etc

We can be confident that he can deliver what he has promised

He gets as legacy from Bush the problems of the economy
and two highly unpopular wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Deliverance is greatly different from election rhetoric says the article and I agree.
