I just came across this video of a light formation over Easter France on a french forum. What's interesting is that the background appears at several occasions and the quality of the footage is good. It gets pretty amazing at 1mn, when 2 new lights appear and move at the same speed.

I can translate what the guy says if you want, but there's nothing really relevant to it, except that he sounds genuine.

seems nothing more than Chinese lanterns to me, drifting slowly in wind. You can see the last one slowly burning out and fading.
