Great point!
Not that I like her but at least Hillary isn't a Mossad agent.

I think the President can stimulate the economy in a number of ways.

He is a Democrat. Usually Democrats are keen with the economy.

The President should be there in the govt to make sure the economy doesn't kerplut if you know what I mean. I see Obama as revitalizing the economy to where it's functional again and then once it is he can stay out of its way and the free market can resume. But until then I think intervention is needed.

Thanks, one of the more entertaining (in a funny way) statements I've seen today.

Do you have a problem with Democrats or something?

What makes me laugh is that even after Nobama was elected the DOW still sank like a rock. I really expected to see a raise because everyone is so star struck with the man. "Oh, he's gonna save us!" Hahahah what a bunch of nonsense.

Frank, I admire your idealism and the fact the you are a Dem makes NO difference to most people on the website. The two parties have become so mixed that there is really no difference between the two anymore. They fight like two tom cats in front of the camera and then rub shoulders at the local bar and grill when off. Which I think is fine. But why the show? I think we all know the answer to that. :-)

To change the economy? Change the media. Show some good and the people we respond with confidence and spending. It is the same concept as "Build it and they will come."

Why would it raise?

Our market is based on capitalism. Did you really think the capitalists on Wall Street would be happy about a liberal marxist becoming president?

No quite the opposite, the first few days immediately after the election, the whole market sank like a rock, and since then hasn't really recovered.

What makes you assume he's marxist? So anyone with a liberal view on the economy is a marxist? We're here to deny ignorance not to spread it.

I'm am amazed by the amount of people that come on ATS and say that Obama is going to make all these changes and Blah Blah.

Really!? Because I'm actually amazed at how many of these anti-Obama posts come up every single day on ATS.

Did all Mccain voters get an ATS ad mailed to them after the election or something reading "Post your thoughts here, www.abovetopsecret.com"?

Because he is...

I only meant because of all the hype about him being able to fix the world. I thought that maybe this would give people a little bit of confidence. Then maybe they would go spend some money instead of sitting around watching CNN all day.

This isn't an anti-Obama thread. I'm anti socialist/communist/facist/USSA and thus I am anti-Obama. Saying that he won't make a difference is me saying that NO president will make a difference.

Get off your box.

He'll be able to do more than Bush did. The Republican party is a mess right now. That's why Obama won.

I don't think he's a marxist. He shares some beliefs with socialism (as do I) but he's definitely not near as liberal in comparison with the national Governments in Europe. So I disagree. We won't be Europe 2.0.
