I have studied various religions and philosophies, mythology and the occult throughout my adult life and studied Scientology for a while too.
During my time at the Org no mention was ever made of demons or devils or anything of the sort.
Actually, I found they won't tell you anything. If you want to know something you have to buy a book or a course.
I found auditing extremely beneficial, but expensive. The major problem was their lack of auditors.
There is no brain-washing, but you could describe the process as mind-clearing which is very different.
Also, when I left there was no animosity or attempts to keep me. I simply told them I had no more money to renew my membership.
I find it laughable to think they are trying to take over the world or whatever similar theories there are. The members of the Org I attended
couldn't organise a party in a brewery. I wouldn't have employed any of them.
Of course, they'd like more members. They believe their tech is beneficial to people. I've found this to be true for me.
There are organisatons of ex-scientologists who are disgusted with the current 'leadership', but I've never heard anyone refer to them as
'satanic'.
The tech itself is marvellous, but is being 'distributed' by some very inept or money-oriented people. It's a shame.
Some ex-scientologists say there is no value to it, others disagree.
Generally, individual scientologists have integrity and are genuinely trying to improve themselves. Unfortunately, what they are learning doesn't
necessarily equip them to 'run a business'.
I have a lot of problems with the way the organisation is being run, but they are definitely not satanic.
