UFO's for the nuts and bolts people?

I read this in a book, that the UFO community made up of the people that are trying to prove that UFO' s exist are mearly simple people.

While the ones that are advanced simply move on, acknowledge aliens and move forward towards greener pastures.

Scolecite, I would be inclined to disagree with the premise you have stated. I have met
some rather impressive people who have observed a UFO, and I would hardly characterize
them as "simple". Likewise, I have met some who I would characterize as Certifiable
New-age California Quacks. The problem with the whole topic is twofold.

1. Scientific Method means learning from unbiased observation and deduction.
If you change the word unbiased to "biased" you lose the scientific community,
which is basically what ufologists do.

2. Since not very much is known about the "nature" of visualization, this area keeps
the topic controversial and allows the bias to be disguised.
