Would Islamoterrorists use a nuke given the chance?

Re: the current post on nuke use in WWII. Some seem to think that the sheer horror of the event was sufficient to deter reuse of a nuclear device. Who here believes that given the chance, those radical Islamists that declared war on the apostates of Islam would decline the use of a nuclear device because of the "horror factor"?


My opinion is that given the past craven acts of Islamic terrorists, they would willingly use any nuclear (or biological weapon for that matter) without hesitation.

What say you?

I dont know about no islamoterririst's but I sure do know that the US military/government would be more than happy to oblige you in this matter.

Before 9/11 was it even concievable to the general public that Islamic radicals would waltz into American airports, armed with boxcutters and fly jets full of people and fuel into high profile American targets?

My advice, be ready for anything you can imagine...nothing is impossible; its just that some things are very hard to do and may take more time to plan and put into effect.

Am I the only one who sees this? It's obvious that we are all being duped, while they try to keep the benevolent aliens off of the planet with a hidden war against the powers of good in the galaxy that seek to FREE HUMANITY, which would destroy their power-structure.

And as such:
Yes, They would.

Without a doubt, they would. Now it's a matter of geography. Who'd be the lucky winner.

London, Madrid, Rome, and and even Moscow are as likely targets as New York.

Don't tell me what you think I want to hear. I'm not disingenously asking the question. I think either view could be held. For instance, one could argue that the use of a nuclear device by terrorists would be a PR nightmare, eroding any sympathy towards them. What do you think?

I fail to see how terrorists could acquire nukes,unless pakistan gets taken over in which case its the USA's fault anyway,but how would terrorists launch nuclear missiles exactly? or are you talking about the non existant myth of a suitcase nuke?

I can't see why not, but I think the whole terrorist group like putting some effort into their work.
Like 9/11 for instance, it was tricky and must have taken a while to plan.
But then again, more infidels they kill the more points they get.

Of course they would use them. Some of them, at least, wouldn't hesitate to use them.

As hard as it is for rational human beings to believe, history is littered with people who don't give a **** about anybody else, or even themselves.

Just take a look at a couple of examples: Stalin, Pol Pot, Hitler. And Hitler didn't just START a war......one of the last things he said in the run-up to the end of the war was "If Germany is going to go down, I want to take the rest of the world with me."......or words to that effect.

And what about those 'school shooters'? Granted, they murder only a couple of dozen at most, before killing themselves. But some of them would have murdered a LOT more, given the chance.

Of course there are people in the world who don't mind destroying the WHOLE world.....themselves included.

And since the muslim religion teaches that it is honourable to destroy their enemies without mercy, in order to attain 'paradise'......well.....I would definitely say that, yes, there ARE people who wouldn't hesitate to use them, and destroy millions in the process.
