You served our country in the form of a terror service officer and you JUST NOW discovered the Al Qaeda started as a CIA database but that database ( the names on it anyway ) formed a terrorist organization?

I don't know what to make of this ... if it is true, then once again my faith in reality as I used to know it, is shaken to the core. Sadly, there is only one source and I doubt we will ever get any credible evidence backing this up further than this article.

I was a united states navy hospital corpsman for your information sir, I was a combat medic, I worked on marines and soldiers. I will tell you that yes, I was a lap dog, I was mislead...now i know how mislead i was. I am also ceartin there are other resources to this...I will endevour to find them.

Not once did i ever proclaim to be a "ground infantryman" or GI as you put it. I was a sailor, I do not care what you think, nor do I feel any need to prove anything I've done to you.

Gents, I fail to see what the OP's credentials or lack thereof, have to do with the actual story. While I take most conspiracy articles posted on this and any other site with a grain of salt, I still think that it is worth investigation.
Robin Cook was the British Secretary of Defence - you seldom get a higher source than that. He was privy to many secrets on both sides of the Atlantic.

When dealing with conspiracies, we have willingly walked into a minefield of lies, half-truths and accusations. Does anyone have proof of anything anymore?

KR, no problem, and since you are new here perhaps I could offer a word of advice in creating a new thread? Try and research your topic as much as possible. Back your thread up with good solid links and quotes. Also don't react to the people trying to bait you.
You could post a thread saying that "the sun is hot" and someone will trash your thread (in fact I think someone posted a thread that the sun is in fact cold - thats their right and opinion). The moderators do try keep order as you know, but they can't be everywhere.

I enjoyed your post because it made me do some googling and I was able to find info I didn't know before. ATS has really expanded my awareness of many topics, from absolute zero, to zero gravity.

This backs up some information that I had already seen from investigations into 9-11. It's never made sense to me that some guy in a cave was able to orchestrate 9-11 and then evade capture by the US military juggernaut for all these years. The connections between the Bin Laden family and the Bush family left me scratching my head and seriously doubting the "official story," and the fact that the very people who might have been able to answer some questions (Bin Laden family members) were spirited out of the US after the FAA grounded all planes looked even more suspicious.

I'm not surprised, but good job finding the information and thanks for sharing it with us.

The way I came across all this information was simply by googleing it, I felt something was wrong so I questioned it. I sifted through all the "thruth behind 9-11" websites out there that are nothing more then sites built by the people that wish to cover the whole damn thing up. Then, came across all these sites that I've linked so far, with information that scares me as a former member of the miltiary.

Oh, and for those that are like, "your ex-military and didnt know this?", umm, you think they would tell us?

not to blame this officer and many others who were DUPED b/c i can at least have respect for this officer as this is an exception to the rule and someone who can ACKNOWLEDGE and distance themself from the terrorist organization or hidden evil they served. MOST CAN'T AND WONT. They continue to FIGHT in an ILLEGAL WAR that can only lead the world into a conflict with NUCLEAR WEAPONS... as is will be the case when ISRAEL attacks IRAN and the US "DEFENDS" it... the PLAN ALL ALONG which the WAR ON TERROR and 9/11 was designed for.
