Where to begin?

So some friends ,I think, may be ready to start listening. I do know what is going on in todays world, but just dont want to start in the wrong place or just ramble too much. I need some advice on where to start i.e. videos, web pages. Sorry, ATS is really the only 'alternative' site i go to now. Just some good beginning places for them, because it is a whole lot to start taking in I know.
