Cassini might hold secrets to life on Saturn moon

The Cassini probe may have already collected data that could reveal the presence of life on Saturn's moon Enceladus, a new study argues.

"If you think about what you need for life, you need water, energy, organic material, and you need nitrogen, and they're all coming out of the plume," McKay told New Scientist. "Here is a little world that seems to have it all"

If we could ever definitively find life on a moon even if it is in the form of bacteria or single celled organisms would be Earth shattering. This would not only change our views of our place in the Universe but the Scientific community as a whole will have to agree that the Universe must be teeming with life.

Its incredible that we may already have this proof, all we need to do is go through the data. Given that there is liquid water, energy and organic material on Enceladus this possibility seems highly probable.

The plume might have even been caused by a leaky pipe in a Alien city.
