I have had a new visitor to my site that is using a ton of bandwidth Read below for the log entry it leaves

(A visitor from crawler-03.mvk-it.com (208.43.85.169)
arrived without a referring URL,
and visited simplesurvival.us/
at 02:29:31 AM on Monday, November 3, 2008.
This visitor used Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; itsapic.com_crawler/0.01 +itsapic.com...; [email protected]).

This started about a week ago and my bandwidth has sky rocketed sense then. I am really not able to figure out what this thing is doing on my site. Is it a leacher or what? It even ignores the robot text telling it not to index. I cant ban the IP address because it comes from different ones.

Any ideas what its doing on my site. There is surprising little information out there but quite a few reports of problems.

Just saw that this is a Russian site. Seriously should I be worried? or will it quite using my bandwidth soon?

If you have access to your .htaccess files try adding the following

order allow,deny
deny from mvk-it.com
allow from all

Seems you are not the only person who has encountered this problem:
www.google.com...
