I'm sure it will sell soon. People love to waste money on pointless material things like a 300 foot flippin boat.

Iraq should do everyone a favor and make a artificial reef out of it.

How is wasting valuable assets and polluting the ocean doing anyone a favor? I'd kill for this boat!

LOL....they are going to get that money. I am interested in seeing if the rocket launching system will be left intact and usable.

The CIA should buy that boat....lol

Boats and ships are stripped and cleaned before being sunk to form a artificial reef. In case you were wondering, this is very good for our planet since it helps to replace lost eco systems that we have destroyed.

Do you have any idea what a boats engine spits out into the ocean/lakes/waterways during normal operation? I would guess you do not since "you'd kill for this boat."

Google is your friend

Yes, that would be great if they used it as an artificial reef, but you can bet that it won't happen.

Saddams Yacht...

What a great place for CIA to train futures puppets to all over the world!

Its mobile, and its great sign of well worked corruption, a goal and motivation keeper to al trainees, what can be earned under this global advisor and employer, US Citizens Comitee: CIA.

Of course its a good reminder too, what can happen if you dont play with the rules in some future operation... Deck below the sealevel must have Horror-show, and Movie theatre where this apacalypse of bad behaving dictators are shown 24h.

Well, I am sure there are more than a few execs of those recently bailed out banks who could easily apply their newly earned bonuses to purchase this thing.
The armaments on board would come in handy as well to ward off frustrated investors.

Well, I'm glad we finally figured out where those wmd's were hidden. You betcha.

Well, there seems to be some interest in this, so here are some more juicy tidbits.

The bidding is reportedly going to start at a cool 35 million (US). The Government of Iraq claims that they have ownership of the vessel, but an unknown individual has approached a yacht brokerage company to sell it. There are plenty of pictures of the yacht, just google it.

Did not see any of the WMD's in any of the pictures though! LOL.....

So is it just 300 foot boats you want sunk or all pointless material things?

What's on your list of pointful material things?

I'd put a bid on it, but it doesn't come with the rocket launcher.
