I'm really scared

It's not natures fault for being nature... I know you are scared, but as another mentioned above. It most likely had a reason to come around. I doubt it would want to be around the most dangerous animal of all for craps and giggles.

It's unfortunate your children will miss out on the trick or treating, perhaps someone in the area can organize an indoor event a week later. It's not the same, but hey at least they can have the experience. Just a thought!

AWW Access, I'm sorry they cancelled trick or treating. Better to be safe though. Although I tend to think that the couple of hours of excitement and chaos within the neighborhood will scare it away, but yeah...it's best to be safe. You should have an impromtu Halloween party at your house.
