Watching the history channel on ROD's they cant be seen by the human eye but are visible on camera, there are recorded 2000 videos on them, at first they said military experiment, but then they found them everywhere, in caves, coming out of water, every where.... they guess they are undiscovered , or an animal from another dimension...... what are these things, and why havent i heard of them before. And any one else notice the amount of UFO coverage on the History channel of all things????

what i heard is that they are actually a camera issue, something to do with cameras causes them to show up on footage.

Thats highly unlikely. If they are a creature of some kind then they havent been around that long, which indicates they came from somewhere.

So although rods might not be craft, I think "not alien" is a large assumption. Like I said before, when we ship oranges or whatever round the world we often ship scoprions and spiders, bugs and whatever along with them. Its very possible we could have seen something similart with RODS.

Rods are a fairly new phenomenon and had they been flying the skies all this time we might likely would have found them long ago, so whatever they are they seem to be new to our skies. In which case its worth wondering where they come from.

Maybe they come from some environment on Earth, vocanic, whatever and some earthwauke or something let them loose, or something else changed, but somehow they are ehre when they werent before.

Hasn't this issue been played out (ad nauseum) on these forums about 5,000 times?

There is a wealth of information on rods here, but if you want to save a lot of heartache..

They're bugs.

ya, they blew it off as camera issues, but that only explains some of them , i just find them weird, do they do anything besides Zoom around? other TV shows have blown off or dismissed subjects and gave retarded reasons.
i just think they need a little bit more attention..

They may have been here for thousands of years. Ufo orbs are seen by many as a new type of life form/entity. Infact they've been here since history was recorded, going back to the Foo Fighters, willow the wisps, orbs seen on the visitation recorded on the woodcut in medeival Nuremburg, all the way to the 'star' of David.

I am not sure what history channel you were watching but the one that I saw revealed the truth that anyone who works with cameras has always known. They are bugs. Flying bugs. They are obviously blurred bugs too fast for the shutter to capture but in case you do not want to take my word, they showed at the end two cameras side by side. The regular one captured many 'rods' while the high speed camera only captured bugs. Amazingly, in the exact same places and movement patterns as the rods in the other camera.

How much more attention would you like to give them. They are bugs, if you know anything about how cameras capture a picture, the first thing you would think the first time you saw a rod, was - bug. If you have no clue how that works, you might think something is up. Then again, you admit that you have seen what they are but that explanation did not satisfy so it is apparently wrong.

Tell us, what research do you propose? What do you think needs to be done to investigate them any farther?

Rods have been around the entire age of modern photography. A long time ago, cameramen had cameras and knew how and when to use them and what was captured by them. In the last few decades, everyone has gotten a camera and video camera and started filming everything. The result is a lot of people with no more knowledge than press the green button seeing bugs and thinking it is something else because they were snapping pics of the dog in the backyard, over by the garden.

bugs moving fast + camera = rods

unfortunatley this equation doesnt work with objects that change direction at rediculous speeds in a way that would crush anything we know we are able to build

also doesnt work when rods cant be seen by the naked eye but ufo's can

and rods are tiny .. about the size of bugs funnly enough ufo's..... tend to be a little larger

and i cant be bothere to type anymore reasons these would appear to be enough

RODS. The are a new phenominan.
I thought they were a digital issue with the mass output from digital cameras. Haven't followed the issue for a while.
They may be BUGS. I believe almost all ufos that appear in photos but were not seen as the photo was taken are just that.
I actually have an amazing photo of a huge craft exiting the sea that took a lot of "non believers" by surprise. It turned out that all these people were convinced it was a missile. It has an after burn aswell.
We blew it up and played with it in PS. It was a dragonfly.
Does anyone know of rods on film footage? not digital.
I did see an interesting doco where it was proven that they were not a refraction issue.
I doubt if they are not terrestrial that they have only appeared recently.
There are too many threads on the likely sites about them.
We need an experienced film expert to comment.

BTW what's the latest on the NASA footage in the McDonalds?

Yes, there are rods on digital, video and film. Why do people think they are new? It is all about shutter speed. It is that simple. Higher shutter speeds = no rods, just bugs, slower shutter speed = more rods, less bugs. See the connection yet?

All cameras have a shutter speed no matter what medium the image is output to.

Rods are not new.

Rods are just bugs.

This has been proven long ago.

Rods are bugs flying fast in front of the camera, they end up appearing as a long fast moving streak...

When I first heard of rods I thought for sure they were real but after seeing a show where they would use a high speed camera and a regular one and let a few bugs fly by it was pretty conclusive. Rods are bugs.

This thread was made in 2008? Wow. Can anyone find an experience camera man that thinks there is more to this than bugs?

Well now , thats a very uselful video . The thing I love about this website is , that just when you think you have formed an opinion about something , some one makes a post, or shows a video , which makes you think harder . Great video

Very cool. Thanks for going to the trouble to make that. It is so simple it boggles the mind that this ever actually became anything.
