Giant Long Armed Squid

I dont think its a cryptid or anything but i just wanted to share because it does look very unearthly. Youtube video of something labeled as a long armed squid, looks like it was taken from an oil refinery perhaps anyway its a cool video imo.

Fantastic video! Never seen one alive before only seen them brought up by trawlers, never knew they had "knees" either.

in the dark deep seas they do freaky things.

squids mating with jellyfish

Its been posted several times. Its not a squid, its a jellyfish.

It looks realy cool! Almost alien like!! Would love to see one of these alive in person, would probably freak me out a bit though!

Even for possibly being a Jellyfish, this thing is pretty darn big. Even something as placid as a Jellyfish can be deadly under the right circumstances. Thanks for having posted it.

it's not a jelly fish...it's a squid.
show me a jelly fish that looks like a squid and i'll be seriously amazed.

Yay, I can actually provide something useful for once. I have a newspaper article from December 21, 2001 about this creature, from the Standard Examiner. Mysterious Squid
It should be readable... Right below the picture it's a little blurry. It says "Sources: Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute; Science"
So this Giant Long Armed Squid has been known about for a while now. It's interesting to see it in motion, though.
