dude, theres tens of thousands of amatuer astronomers watching the night sky all round the world taking pictures constantly. Not to mention the
thousands of professional projects. Yet they report nothing unusual what makes you think a webcam will do any better?
youre right up to a point, but you cant say that they are watching the whole sky, all night, can you?
besides if you had a network of people with these webcams, if anything was seen it would be easy to work out how far up it was, and therefore size.
no more nonsense with "oh it was the size of a double decker bus, at a height of 20,000 feet" or whatever.
