I have been doing a lot of thinking about outer space and the thought of extra terrestrial life and are we really alone in the vast and massive
Universe. I mainly have been thinking about this after reading "Dark Mission: The Secret History of NASA" from Richard C Hogland and Mike
Bara. In this book they talk about all the photos and movie reels that NASA has censored in it's history to protect up from mass hysteria and total
social collapse based on the Brookings Report that was made in 1959. It is with these ideas that we have been sheltered and not told about
everything.
The first thing that we need to look at, and is the main thing that everything is being censored based on, is the Brookings Report. The Brookings
Report, or properly named Proposed Studies on the Implications of Peaceful Space Activities for Human Affairs, was presented before House of
Representatives in April of 1961. In the report, it was generally conceived that any thing that was found in space that would have gone as far to
prove that we weren't alone in the universe should not be released to the public. In the report, it explains when a society that has thought that it
was at the center of its universe and we exposed to a society superior to them will more than likely disintegrate; others change in the face of the
knowledge. Most of the congress men and women only read up to the part of disintegration. I believe that we have proof that we have that we will
survive.
My next point is the works of two men of science who would go towards revolutionizing the way we think. They are Galileo and Copernicus. First
Nicolaus Copernicus was a Polish born astronomer/physicist born in 1473. He introduced the heliocentric model of the universe. At the time people
thought subscribe to Ptolemy's model of Earth centered world which was established in 150AD. Copernicus faced much scrutiny from the scientific
community that his book on the subject never got publish until his death in 1543.
Galileo Galilei was an Italian astronomer born in 1564. He is mainly charged with the discovery of moons revolving around Jupiter and sun spots. There
is still a debate about the discovery of the telescope, if he didn't invent it, he did perfect it. He had a list of different discovers from his work
on the scientific method to his work with the speed of light and frequency. He has had a major impact on our lives in ways we can only imagine. But
with all these discoveries were not met with opens and acceptance. Rome and the religious inquisitions force Galileo not to talk about his firmly held
beliefs that we live in a heliocentric world so he was order to refrain from defending the theory. Eventually the religious controllers of the times,
Pope Urban VIII put him under house arrest and forbid the publishing of his materials and the went as far as to tell him what he was to believe and if
he didn't he would be found to be in heresy towards the church.
Heliocentrism was never condemned. Did the church know something that they didn't want everyone else to know. It seems that they would rather punish
men of science who found the truth and were about to lay a foundation to help change the way we think about things and go after truth and discovery.
It seems in every generation there is a group of people who want to with hold the flow of information. In the middle ages it was the church, now it is
the government and the CIA in the USA and Section 40 in the UK. The knowledge and information that Galileo and Copernicus eventually changed the world
and we accepted the fact the Earth isn't the center of the universe. It is even the center of the galaxy. It is quite insignificant in the grand
scheme on the universe at this point.
From the time of Galileo and Copernicus to the time of first foray in to the space race in the fifties, There was a slow but fundamental change in the
people and their beliefs. They have come from the flat world in the center and unmoving, to Heliocentric, to knowing that we are part of a galaxy and
the event the sun moves. It took hundreds of years for us to get to this level. But we were able to make the change none the less. But as this
population gets older, they generations get smarter at an almost exponential rate. Children in the 50's were learning algebra, geometry, chemistry,
biology, and other subjects in public schools that most people 50 years prior would have to go to a finishing school or to a college to learn. But
people then still had a deep lying belief in the religious dogma and teaching ingrained in to them from the thousands of years ingrained in
society.
Then the space race happened. People seen man reach for the stars and finally touch the moon. It has been from this great even that has helped the
ever speeding up of education and the inspiration of so many kids to get in the sciences and to study and to look for truth. I would have Brookings
report is really for, those born and living prior to the space race and part of the ingrained religious majority of the 50 and 60 but now the waining
minority here in the new millennium. It took hundreds of years for the knowledge of Galileo and Copernicus to be accepted into human culture. Today in
the new millennium, we teach algebra to middle school kids and have computer classes in elementary school. We are more intellectually advanced than
they were 40 years ago.
Now with the exponential rate that people are learning at, and how things are disseminated through the Internet, would be able to handle the new way
of thinking. We can handle the fact we are not alone. We have heard about people getting abducted and taken away and having missing time. We have
heard the stories of Men in Black, Area 51, UFO, and secret governmental meetings with these aliens. We have grown up with it in the media and in
comic books. It is time for us to have disclosure of everything about what the truth is about the universe, about ruins on the moon, or Mars and
Venus. It is time for the governments to go away from the Brookings Report. They need a reassessment on today's standards, with today's people. NASA
and the government cannot think we cannot handle this forever. They cannot be so ignorant not to get a reassessment after seeing how far we have come
in the last 40 years. It is time for disclosure now.
