3 Bigrigs with 3 big boxes

Ok so today here in my small town my mom saw these 3 bigrigs that had 3 big boxes on them, now this in it self is not to wared but they are coming form San Diego supposed to go to the gulf of Mexico, aka going in the wrong way. So long story short they ended up taking pics of it and giving them to me to try to figure out what they are.

Looks like they may be using solar turbines to generate power on some new oil platforms.They have to ship diesel fuel out to the platforms to run the generators otherwise.

as a graffiti expert, that paint sprayed on the box looks like a cheap attempt to hide something in ''plain sight''.

Even crappy artists, which are abundant all over the place have a better style than this.

it looks totally fake to me...perhaps it is something of importance.

I thought the U.S. didn't condone crude oil drilling in the Gulf.

Why does the OP say these trucks were going the wrong way? Where were the pictures taken?

Solar Turbines is a company based in San Diego and makes equipment for the oil and gas industry among other things.

The link provided by the OP says exactly this. That is why the boxes have "MADE IN U.S.A. FOR EXPORT" stenciled on them.

An NSN is always in the form nnnn-nn-nnn-nnnn. The above number is not an NSN. "PO#" on a box or order form, in my experience, usually stands for purchase order number and was probably assigned by Solar Turbines.
