Over the last few weeks we've heard all manner of thoroughly ugly and completely baseless crap from Republicans across the country. We've heard that Congressional Dems as well as Barack Obama himself were potentially "anti-American" from first class wingnut Michelle Bachman. We've heard from wingnut Rep Robin Hayes that Democrats "Liberals hate America-people who work hard, achieve, love God. We've heard how much Sarah Palin likes to appear in the "Pro America" parts of the nation.
Now we get to see and hear "Shotgun" Randy Kuhl (R-Hair Club for Men) say on camera that he "firmly believes" that Democrats want the American People to suffer and to hurt." No, really. Here's the exact quote:
I firmly believe the Democratic majority wants the American public to suffer and to hurt so that they can make some political gains at election time, and I think that's wrong.
“I don’t believe these polls,” said America Blanca, a 44-year-old small business owner from Miami who wore a red dress and was visibly pumped up by the rally. “Not one of them. Because it’s the kids answering the polls on the computers. Their parents are not home and they are answering and they will not be voting. I think if he is losing, it is only by a little spread. Very little.” She held the tip of her pointer finger about two inches from the tip of her thumb.
Asked if her business made more than $250,000 a year, the cap under which Obama has proposed cutting taxes, she said it did. Told about Obama’s proposal, she answered, “I don’t give a #. I will never vote for a black man.”
“I’m afraid if he wins, the blacks will take over. He’s not a Christian! This is a Christian nation! What is our country gonna end up like?”
“When you got a Negra running for president, you need a first stringer. He’s definitely a second stringer.”
“He seems like a sheep - or a wolf in sheep’s clothing to be honest with you. And I believe Palin - she’s filled with the Holy Spirit, and I believe she’s gonna bring honesty and integrity to the White House.”
“He’s related to a known terrorist, for one.”
“He is friends with a terrorist of this country!”
“He must support terrorists! You know, uh, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck. And that to me is Obama.”
“Just the whole, Muslim thing, and everything, and everybody’s still kinda - a lot of people have forgotten about 9/11, but… I dunno, it’s just kinda… a little unnerving.”
“Obama and his wife, I’m concerned that they could be anti-white. That he might hide that.”
“I don’t like the fact that he thinks us white people are trash… because we’re not!”
ESSENCE.COM: What are people saying?
HARRIS: Let me just pull some up now. [Reading] “Hey man, are you the plant that sucked up to McCain? What were you thinking? You should be ashamed of yourself.” “Are you that self-loathing bastard?” This is just at random. “You are lost, sad and worthy of pity. I will not hate you; I will call you by your rightful name: House Nigger.” And that was mild! [Laughs.]
ESSENCE.COM: Have you gotten positive feedback from people applauding you for standing up for your beliefs?
HARRIS: I would say the mail coming in is 12 to 1—for every 12 negative, I get one positive.

Look at how the democrats and their cohorts in the media lied to the American people concerning Iraq. We heard there was a civil war, the war is lost, our troops are cold blooded killers. Through all of that some people still voted based on what they knew was right. Because of that, Iraq is improving. Thats no thanks to democrats. Democrats wanted it to be bad in Iraq, because failure there benefited them.
So, personally I beleive the democrats could give a damn about the American people as long as they (the dems) have power. If they have to demonize oil, oppose drilling and cause oil prices to rise with new taxes, than so be it, because bad news is good for them!

Yet, you have no problem with Obama supporters beating up McCain supporters, calling McCain supporters racists or terrorists (The view). You're only interested in being a hypocrite and labeling anyone who doesn't like Obama a backwoods racist hick. You are what you hate.

Is this not how Bush & Co. have been portrayed since 09-11-2001? At the least, that's how I see it. And it arrived long before NOW.

Starred and so true. Bush and Republicans in general have been enduring this for at least the last 9 or 10 years. Now if people posting this were too young to vote back then, or were otherwise not taking part in the political process I can understand their bewilderment at how poitics has degenerated in the U.S. However, to the rest that participated in the 9 or 10 years and are now complaining, I call hypocrisy and would tell them to look in the mirror for someone to blame.

Seems to me he was telling the truth. I remember gas prices continually going up and the dem led Congress never did much to slow it down.
Funny how some people decry Socialist Obama on one page and then cry mommy to the Congress for not being socialist enough. Pathetic.
