Whoa. Kuhl Says Dems Want Americans 'To Suffer and To Hurt'

Mmmkay. Here's the latest version of attacking Americans. The list of Governement reps saying this garbage is enlightening, to say the least.

Over the last few weeks we've heard all manner of thoroughly ugly and completely baseless crap from Republicans across the country. We've heard that Congressional Dems as well as Barack Obama himself were potentially "anti-American" from first class wingnut Michelle Bachman. We've heard from wingnut Rep Robin Hayes that Democrats "Liberals hate America-people who work hard, achieve, love God. We've heard how much Sarah Palin likes to appear in the "Pro America" parts of the nation.
Now we get to see and hear "Shotgun" Randy Kuhl (R-Hair Club for Men) say on camera that he "firmly believes" that Democrats want the American People to suffer and to hurt." No, really. Here's the exact quote:

I firmly believe the Democratic majority wants the American public to suffer and to hurt so that they can make some political gains at election time, and I think that's wrong.

Ghastly and unnerving how now we can pigeonhole anyone as being an unpatriotic anti-american terrorist. It has arrived.

Seems to me he was telling the truth. I remember gas prices continually going up and the dem led Congress never did much to slow it down. In my view they did it to give Obama the edge. Dems know the sitting President gets blamed for everything. By the way whatever happened to Pelosi 2006 promise that Dems had a common sense plan to lower the price of gas? Seems she has yet to reveal that plan unless the common sense plan was the crisis. Because ever since the crisis gas prices have dropped quite a bit.

Just to be fair, the Republicans would have played by the same rules if the roles were reversed. To the dems and reps it is all about winning at everyone's expense.

I thought I would throw out a few of this am's samples from around the luno-sphere.

Rep. Hayes: ‘Liberals Hate Real Americans That Work And Achieve And Believe In God’»

And here, perhaps most damming yet, an elected American Rep has called for an investigation into "anti-American" congresspeople. What a load!

Man, it's getting wild out there.

So the corollation is that gas prices went up and thus this one guy is ANTI AMERICAN? Man, it just cant be that way to truly have a discussion, imo. The post is blatant - I added more in another below and here are a few more - this is that is called sad.

www.observer.com...

“I don’t believe these polls,” said America Blanca, a 44-year-old small business owner from Miami who wore a red dress and was visibly pumped up by the rally. “Not one of them. Because it’s the kids answering the polls on the computers. Their parents are not home and they are answering and they will not be voting. I think if he is losing, it is only by a little spread. Very little.” She held the tip of her pointer finger about two inches from the tip of her thumb.

Asked if her business made more than $250,000 a year, the cap under which Obama has proposed cutting taxes, she said it did. Told about Obama’s proposal, she answered, “I don’t give a #. I will never vote for a black man.”

Here are some great quotes from a recent Palin constituency. See the link below to the vid if you don;t believe me.

“I’m afraid if he wins, the blacks will take over. He’s not a Christian! This is a Christian nation! What is our country gonna end up like?”

“When you got a Negra running for president, you need a first stringer. He’s definitely a second stringer.”

“He seems like a sheep - or a wolf in sheep’s clothing to be honest with you. And I believe Palin - she’s filled with the Holy Spirit, and I believe she’s gonna bring honesty and integrity to the White House.”

“He’s related to a known terrorist, for one.”

“He is friends with a terrorist of this country!”

“He must support terrorists! You know, uh, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck. And that to me is Obama.”

“Just the whole, Muslim thing, and everything, and everybody’s still kinda - a lot of people have forgotten about 9/11, but… I dunno, it’s just kinda… a little unnerving.”

“Obama and his wife, I’m concerned that they could be anti-white. That he might hide that.”

“I don’t like the fact that he thinks us white people are trash… because we’re not!”

Sickening in every way.

Is this not how Bush & Co. have been portrayed since 09-11-2001? At the least, that's how I see it. And it arrived long before NOW.
It is just politics

Look at how the democrats and their cohorts in the media lied to the American people concerning Iraq. We heard there was a civil war, the war is lost, our troops are cold blooded killers. Through all of that some people still voted based on what they knew was right. Because of that, Iraq is improving. Thats no thanks to democrats. Democrats wanted it to be bad in Iraq, because failure there benefited them.

So, personally I beleive the democrats could give a damn about the American people as long as they (the dems) have power. If they have to demonize oil, oppose drilling and cause oil prices to rise with new taxes, than so be it, because bad news is good for them!

Yet, you have no problem with Obama supporters beating up McCain supporters, calling McCain supporters racists or terrorists (The view). You're only interested in being a hypocrite and labeling anyone who doesn't like Obama a backwoods racist hick. You are what you hate.

Remember the black guy at McCain rally that stood up and told McCain to go after obama . Here are some comment he has heard from the black community as told by him.

ESSENCE.COM: What are people saying?
HARRIS: Let me just pull some up now. [Reading] “Hey man, are you the plant that sucked up to McCain? What were you thinking? You should be ashamed of yourself.” “Are you that self-loathing bastard?” This is just at random. “You are lost, sad and worthy of pity. I will not hate you; I will call you by your rightful name: House Nigger.” And that was mild! [Laughs.]

ESSENCE.COM: Have you gotten positive feedback from people applauding you for standing up for your beliefs?
HARRIS: I would say the mail coming in is 12 to 1—for every 12 negative, I get one positive.

source

There is even a poll at the bottom where you vote if he is a sell out or not. This guy has done nothing wrong but to support McCain. Does he deserve the treatment he is getting.

The only reason we don't hear more of what obama supporters are saying about McCain and their supporters is because the media seldom plays it. In addition to that Obama seldom holds rallies in black only sections. Tell him to hold a rally in compton and let's see what kind of adjective they use to define McCain and his supporters.

So even with the world in a miserable mess, you still have people making accusations which seem false to me, from where I am sitting, I didn't see a Democrat creating the mess the world is suffering for, as for local Reps, thats for the voters are for, if you don't like what they do, then kick them out of office, its easy.

As for the lady who said this...

Asked if her business made more than $250,000 a year, the cap under which Obama has proposed cutting taxes, she said it did. Told about Obama’s proposal, she answered, “I don’t give a #. I will never vote for a black man.”

It's really a shame she does not live here in the UK, because her backside would be in jail right now, why doesn't America have anti racism laws to put down this crap? it's time for change and people need to get over themselves really quickly, her company would not survive because she wouldn't get the customers.

I love America i really do, most of the people are wonderful people, but people like her, I wouldn't give a second of my time, people like her are worthless IMO, the cause of the problem, and couldn't get further from the solution, I bet she doesn't have a problem with Black soldiers dying to protect her.

Some folk deserve everything they get i swear.

We have laws against this, they're just doing this, because they want attention. I think it's horrible.

Ok, first of all, if you honestly believe that the Democrat Party wants our troops to fail, you have no idea whatsover of how Washington works. Your line about the ole' mainstream media feeding us Dem lies in Iraq is unfortunate considering:

1) This same mainstream media gave you a plate of meatballs that you happily ate when the REPUBLICANS LIED TO GO TO WAR.
2) You must have an interesting interpretation of what "Civil War" is
3) They reported truths about heinous acts perpetrated by our troops. And this is bad, how? Isn't the act that has been reported the "bad" thing?

In regard to my post, how is it you came to this conclusion? You cite the view, unfortunately, as a source. Please do not give television personalities creedence when not due. I never labled "anyone who doesn't like Obama a backwoods racist hick." As a matter of fact, you can see the videos above of each person mentioned, what they said they didn;t like about Obama, and what I said about them. It's called reading and then interpretation.

Starred and so true. Bush and Republicans in general have been enduring this for at least the last 9 or 10 years. Now if people posting this were too young to vote back then, or were otherwise not taking part in the political process I can understand their bewilderment at how poitics has degenerated in the U.S. However, to the rest that participated in the 9 or 10 years and are now complaining, I call hypocrisy and would tell them to look in the mirror for someone to blame.

I beg your pardon? Please site examples of the horrible sufferings you went through as you elected the worst President ever twice???? Did you not EXPECT people to actually BEG you to reconsider?
Secondly, your point is that since 9-11 republicans have been playing the "Dems are Anti-American" card? Well, you're right. And the funny mention of age, hmmm, please tell me where in the last three elections any Dem or Rep was called a terrorist, a socialist, and, ANTI-AMERICAN? Please site your sources as this is apparently very obvious.

The reason we don't have anti racism laws is because we don't have enough prisons to hold the republican party. “When you got a Negra running for president, you need a first stringer. He’s definitely a second stringer.” GOP Member wondering why blacks won't vote for the GOP talking about Obama. Or you have this little gem from Sos. "If Obama loses, we will have fulfilled the great Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dream. We will have judged a man, not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character.” Sos. But he's not racist...

Asking questions is one thing, but we're hardly talking about people just asking questions. See gamer gal post above as an example of what we've seen for many years - trying to imply that all Republicans are racists.

I'll take your post to mean that you weren't old enough to know what has gone on. If you were and participated in the last decade or more of Republican bashing, then my question to you is simply, "Why ask why?".

How did this thread go from Kuhl making a blanket statement about Democrats back to bashing about racist Republicans?

Kuhl does the rest of us Republicans a disservice by making these kinds of blanket statements. Anyone with common sense knows that not all Democrats, heck that most Democrats don't want America to "suffer and hurt". The same is true with Republicans.

We all want this country to improve. We just have different ideas about how to fix it.

You gotta be freaking kidding me. Government intervention is a sure sign of the Abominable Pink Socialism, isn't it? That's what some people say about Obama.

So take your capitalism and eat it.

Funny how some people decry Socialist Obama on one page and then cry mommy to the Congress for not being socialist enough. Pathetic.

It's a topic for a separate thread, but the theories about speculators inflating the price of gas should be looked at again. Now that oil is under $70 a barrel, we should be seeing gas at $1.99 or lower, yet it's still close to $3 in some places.

Funny how your Democrat led Congress led the charge to approve that socialism you so much speak about. Maybe they wanted to help Obama get a head start.

Back it up with some names or examples. I for one ask Congress to do their job period. People are hurting cause the Congress has done next to nothing the last two years.
