Theory of how govs cover it all up

My theory is that sometimes the gov uses the media to do a movie, show, radio program...(ect) about a top secret program so that if general public sees anything suspiciouse they just think oh it must be from that one movie and just totally blow it off.

Example... the show stargate lets assume gov tells broadcaster to air show about intersteller travel through a circular warpgate... They do it everyone watches show/movie someone sees something like a warpgate somewhere and thinks oh they must be filming part of stargate.

Is this to farfetched or is there any proof?

That sound like a good theory. I've read that there is a possible stargate artifact that is located in Southern Iraq, which could possibly explain the presence of the U.S. Military and other powerful militaries around the world being there. It could perhaps be that this stargate will become important in the years before 2012.

Mass media is an excellent tool for the Governments top secret programs to condition the public to them.
