I would be much more apt to leave the country if McCain wins over Obama.

Say what you want about Obama, but the man is the only annointed candidate who has the ability to change this country for the better and restore our standing in the world.

McCain can use all the gung-ho talk about being a "maverick" he wants, the truth is his policies will just continue the GOP crap train that has been guiding this country for most of the past 30 years. Not that the Dems are any better, but at least they make an attempt to act like they care about the common men and women of this country.

The sad thing is, I would have voted for McCain in 2000 or 2004. But now, no. Do yourself a favor if you haven't voted yet and make a statement...vote for a third party.

I love how people insist that Obama is the man for change. What are you basing this on? Just because he spurts the word "change" in everyone of his speeches, doesn't mean he has ANY experience to back it up. As soon as he was elected into the Senate, he immediately began campaigning for President. IMO, Obama doesn't have ANY track record to suggest he can CHANGE anything.

Eh, ok. I'm told my post is too short and that it needs content that 'adds' to the discussion.
So I say you work with the hand your dealt. Vote your heart, and follow your conscious in dealing with anything that comes up during the Prez's term/s.
Was there any doubt that Obama would be elected? For McCain to be elected would fly in the face of the puppet masters' traditional pattern.
We are still working to pull the curtain back and regain control of our lives and souls.
While this election is certainly 'historical' within the US political arena, it is actually just another election and it will be interesting to see what's gone on behind the scenes while we were all distracted by the big show.

I'm going to leave the country now that O'Bama has won.

I am going to mexico. Once there, I will sneak back into texas illegally.

Once I get here, I'll be elligible for foodstamps, free emergency room medicine, and a free university education! I should do pretty well filling out my "Juan Valdez" photocopied social security cards. I'm planning on collecting social security payments on 5 or 10 citizens via ID theft.

Now, don't anybody post anything nasty about me, or I'll SUE!!!!

There is no place to go ;all the other countries are having the same problems as America ; plus, the more affluent countries are too difficult for all but the ridiculously wealthy to immigrate to. I can see many Mexicans moving to Mexico simply because Mexico has a better climate for people who can not find employment; Mexicans can live off the land if they must. If too many crazy government police state stuff passes Americans are likely to evacuate to rural American unclaves.

or even actively fight against the PTB, Obama administration, creeping socialism or fascism...

one can effectively Dis-entangle oneself from the government octopus.

i'm not talking armed resistance or anything like that...

Well, I'm gonna leave for awhile so I don't have to listen to the conservative crybaby's whining and doom and gloom rhetoric.

They tried to use it as a campaign strategy and it blew up in their face.

I just hope Obama can deliver; but even if he can't it will be better than
the past 8 years. Bush left Obama a HUGE mess.

Do you mean the 110th congress? Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac and the bailout---that all originates in the (democrat) house.

All joking aside, I'm an american, and I will always stay here. But I plan to send my money on vacation. My money has worked hard for me and it deserves some time off in a nice quiet haven somewhere. Someplace where it won't evaporate in the heat of class warfare.

I prefer Obama than McCain. I can only wish him good luck in his work, tough times are ahead for him and the US, especially when dealing with the economy and russia.

I said I would, but my now that I'm thinking rationally I will stay and fight for my country.

While I found dr_strangecraft's post really funny and laughed, I believe this post by St Udio is the most logical and practical response to the situation at hand. While I did bring up conspiracy's child - puppet master, behind the curtain, etc.- in my post I find that as of late I search for another way to deal with this mess. I've been reading, writing and discussing conspiracy, big brother, elite, Illuminati since the early 60's and while we have had a lot of disclosure mixed with a liberal amount of disinformation in recent years I still see no real progress in reclaiming our Selfhood.
So I thank you for the link St Udio and hope to pursue some alternative pathways.
