when driving
I'm very disappointed to announce that my buddy is selling his Kicker CVX...
That was the first real good sub I've been introduced to, and that was what made me want one of my own so badly. It's going to be a bummer not
hearing that thing bump anymore but I guess he's trying to move on to bigger better things.
Firstly you need components in the front, this lifts the sound stage up to around about the top of your dash, (in comparison to two ways in the doors
that muffle high pass signal) secondly you need rcas preouts (if you can 4volts not 2.5s) from your headunit this gives you the ability of much higher
sound quality. Another thing to remember is leave speakers to do the frequencies they are capable of!
Tweeters = Highest Pitched Sounds
4" = Med-High vocals
6.5" = Medium pitches
Sub = Low pitches
*The sound stage should be in front of you (Which way do you face at a concert?)
*The higher the frequencies the speaker reproduces the higher mounted it should be, Within Reason.
*Subs are used to fill out your sound from the rear (everyone gets this right)
*Get a good quality headunit (speakers can only be as good as information their given)
* Try and get an amp that is more than capable of running your system this makes interchanging so much easier.
Remember these keys if you plan to purchase retail...
*You get what you pay for
*Handmade is best
*Dont be fooled by "amazing new technology" or advertising
*The best brands don't need to advertise and new acronyms are generally just to skip copyright
*American is generally best
Ive missed heaps and i have only experienced a few installs take these keys as fact but test them
