Secondly, we must, at least hypothetically, take into account the willingness of certain institutions to conceal any, if not all, evidence of ancient
technology. Our current world, economies and political systems are based on the possibly false notion that we ( the humans ) are the best and most
advanced that we've ever been.
This statement is very very near the absolute truth of why things are no longer found.
The powers that be over history have done an excellent job of destroying, hiding, burning, and looting any such artifacts to keep them from public
knowledge. The reason is simple, if the general public knew there were other civilizations before ours, they would begin to realize that our worlds
religions are probably based on falsehoods, because most certainly there would be some other evidence to suggest otherwise if we could look back
further.
Do you know why we actually had the "Dark Ages"? In 391 AD, the Vatican gave the order of "Decree of Theophilius", which basically gave free reign
to destroy all "pagan" temples and churches. Many of these "Pagan" churches held ancient artifacts that we are currently discussing. One such
temple, was the Library of Alexandria, which was built circa 295 BC. This library as you already know was -the- research center for the entire world.
All that passed through Alexandria were searched for books and papers, which were immediately taken, copied, and returned. The Library was one of the
only places that you could go to learn about Astrology, science, and the universe, all of which are deemed paganism by the Vatican. This library had
records and texts going back over 700 years!
Once the Roman Catholics were in control, everything of importance in the library was taken and stored in the Vatican secret library of forbidden
knowledge and it is most likely still there. The Library was then burned to the ground, and all the knowledge that existed within was lost. The dark
ages lasted roughly from 500 AD to 1000 AD, nearly five centuries!
Combine this with the crusades, which were to find holy "relics" to bring back, and you have almost a complete wiping out of all things ancient.
Why would the Vatican do such a thing? Well that's easy, control. If the true knowledge of the catholic religion were to be discovered, it could
quite possibly destroy the church and its complete control over the world. They could not let that happen. During these times, Kings bowed down to the
will of the pope and the church, it was that powerful.
This is one reason why many of the items of the past are no longer here.
