Please give feedback.

Not sure whether I believe this myself, but the other day I was sitting with my wife and out of no where, I thought the following...

There seems to be so many people attributing the title of Savior, Messiah, or "The One" to Obama. Although Obama makes light of this by saying, "I was not born in a manger. I was actually born on Krypton and sent here by my father, Jor-el, to save the Planet Earth," he said, in a reference to Superman (news.bbc.co.uk...) he still uses a character that is not of this world (in a joking manner) to describe himself. If anyone is familiar with the evolution of words and symbolism you will understand the following:

Horus 1/2 God 1/2 Man (Horus the Son - or - Horus the Sun - or - Horizon).

Obama has incorporated this symbol into his campaign. The logo he uses is of the sun coming up on the horizon. Meaning, of course, New Day, New Birth, Horizon, Horus the Son/Sun.

That said, consider his racial, educational and religious background. He is black and white. Educated in an Islamic school as a youth (in Indonesia) and claims to be Christian. The U.S.A. is referred to as the Neo-Roman Empire. Teaches change, unity, etc.

According to the story, Jesus was born during the time of the Roman Empire. Was Jewish by birth. Taught change, unity, etc. Early in life he was taught in Egypt, then in Temples in his home of birth. His is known as the Son of God (1/2 God 1/2 Man). He is the New Day, the Bright and Morning Star (Revelation 22:16). The horizon.

According to the story, when Jesus arrived on the scene to begin his ministry, John the Baptist had already made a name for himself. For a moment they were kind of campaigning against one another. Then John had to fade into the pages of history as Jesus was placed into the spot light.

Present day - Messiah-like Obama campaigning against John. John will fade into the pages of history as Obama is placed in the spot light.

Make of this what you will.

I thought of this the other day and figured I would share my thoughts with everyone.

uh huh

last I checked, the predictions all state a flase messiah, a man of peace would come and leave the world in ruins prior to the end...

and... "I wasn't born in a manger I come from Krypton?"

Superman always has had the "savior" theme attached to him... so in essence obama is making a claim even in saying that...

Kind of sacreligous no matter how I look at that statement... not very funny when you badger race, yet consistantly attack and poke fun at a huge portion of Americans beliefs

Any Judeo Christians of anyfaith would (by thier not my beliefs) take these words as very negative if they knew thier own scriptures at all... sadly many don't... but still, Obamas a bit of a freak, sorry... sad but true...

People debate Islam, Christian in regards to Obama...

I think... he's just like Bush, he has NO beliefs whatsoever, jaded, believes he is the ONE by his own hand...

Possesion of a messianic concept of oneself, with no actual belief in g-d... can only be worse than possesionof the same sort of mental damage...tempered by belief, at least there are rules to follow in the hands of the devout

I've been trying to simply post this thread. It was being deleted every time I posted it. I tried posting it on different boards but it didn't help. It was being deleted as fast as I was posting it. I didn't mean any ill by posting it. I was getting frustrated that it was being deleted for no reason.

Funny thing about Superman was that he was originlly created by 2 Jewish writers and his portrayal as Messianic was always part of his origins...

Only in recent years has that theme been readressed as Comics have been since The Dark Night Series, revitalized as more serious and reflecting real world issues

The last Superman Movie shows blatantly Christ Like imagery as Superman floats and listens to the cries for help (prayers) of the people from high above the Planet, also in Smallville he is constantly refered to as a "Savior" and the Comic series leads in this arena but too much to get into...

The thing is... the reference to Jor-El is very telling, Obama lacks a father and... there is something in his pick of Superman in relation to this... on a level Obama has...some issues to contend with, he has "delusions of grandeur"

It is hard to say exactly how much anger and need for "change" this man of... no consistent parenting or culture or religion actually contains...

Obama may very well be a seriously confused and dangerous man... Conflicted, like a harvey two face between two sides of a personality... who he is, Islamic, or Christian, Black or White American or Non American...

the resulting personality, his psychological attempot to reconcile himself could be a very dangerous thing

and..it shows in, his reference to Superman, a lone, Alien... apart fromall, destined to save mankind, please the father who was never there.. he has no identity so he assumes in jest the identity of someone he can relate to, he needs... approval he never recieved

But who is to say how far he will go? With this self created vision iof himself?

After all, Superman takes the law into his own hands... Obama speaks peace, but how far is he metally really from the kind of Dictatorial and I have the Power sort of thinking we see in G W Bush?

If you take the approach I think you're going with, the closest thing to Superman the Bible speaks of is Samson who was described as a "super man". But he had a problem with women, and one woman in particular, that led to his downfall and he was later conquered by his enemies. So, I think based on this, Obama is doomed to be shown to be weak by a woman (Sarah Palin) and be defeated.

On the otherhand, John the Baptist proclaimed the coming kingdom and it's king. In this sense, he was annoucing change. Real change. A turning away from doing things that were wrong to that which is right. In that case it was the Messiah, Jesus. In John McCain, it is no coincidence that he chose a Christian as his running mate. She is a child of God as she belioeves to be, and the Bible says that the kingdom of God is within you (the Christian). John has annouced his running mate and she has come up after him as did Jesus with John the Baptist. There came a day when John the Baptist died and Jesus was front and center. So too, if (and I say if) John McCain dies in office, Sarah Palin, the Christian will become front and center.

So my prediction is that Obama will be done in because of a women (Hillary voters) and McCain will win.
