Drudge: Obama campaign has already told the media what to say tonight

The Obama campaign issued a set of debate 'talking points' to media on Wednesday morning, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.

I guess we better get used to having the Obama regime tell people what to think if they are elected. This country will seriously be run by a socialist satrap.

This is frightening. We can kiss or freedoms goodbye under "The one".

It's not surprising really.

Most of the media is basically a part of the Obama campaign anyway, so it only stands to reason that this would go on.

What freedoms do we have left? We can be wiretapped without warrant, our bank accounts are monitored and flagged if we make any large transactions, the feds can check what library books you're reading, what websites you're visiting, your email, search your house, ban you from flying, question your employer, and get records from your isp. What's left to take?

I wonder if the McCain campaign did the same, and it was just conveniently left out? I wonder how the term "issued a set of debate talking points" equates to "telling the media what to say"?

I wonder when people are going to snap out of the illusion??

Well, you can rest assured that McCain's campaign also submitted its 'suggestions' whether the media recognizes them publicly or not.

Besides, you can't have an entertaining show without a script!

It's interesting. Back at the very beginning of the campaign when Ron Paul supporters were complaining about media bias the 'other' candidates' supporters called us tin-hatters. Now that they feel their candidate is getting the short-shrift it's a different story. You can pretty much be certain that the McCain campaign also provided post-debate 'talking-points'. It's SOP. The Drudge site, btw, is the only place on the net (except maybe the RNC and McCain site) where his 'poll' numbers favored McCain by a big margin after each debate (significantly disagreeing with all of the other major polls). Not saying he's biased or anything...

Seriously, this charade on the part of some on the right that the whole of media is biased against them is getting old. I had always felt the media was largely biased towards conservatives. Turns out much of the media just plain sucks. If you want accurate reporting you have to seek it out.

What happened to the good old days when Bush used to do the same thing. I guess we have morphed to the new president who will take the helm. I see he is already getting ready to use the increased powers that Bush has given the government.

"told the media what to say"??? Oh, I guess if it's Fox 'news', then we can agree that THEY'VE told what to say for about eight years, give or take.

Honestly....how about this scenario?

McCain already telegraphed a few of his upcoming punches, at the behest of his (dwindling) supporters. If you haven't heard, he was tasked with raising the 'Bill Ayers' issue tonight, in the debate. This is already common knowledge. Maybe Obama is being a gentleman, and throwing a few bones to the McCain camp to chew on, in the final hours of preparation.

Sheesh!!! Everyone already can guess Obama's 'talking points'....they don't change, except to be improved upon. The McCain camp's desperation is quite clear.

Side note: While I would rarely consider voting for a Republican, I earnestly wanted McCain to get the nomination in 2000. And, I would have voted for him, over Gore. But, that was McCain 2.0....this is another entirely different man....in 2008
