I just hope they get to the bottom of this case. The mother crazy or not still has to face what she has done or not done to help. I mean really going dancing when others are looking for her kid! Maybe if they left her alone with some of the inmates for awhile she would want to come clean. Nothing she has said has been the truth. It makes me sick that people today just throw kids away like trash.

my aunt thinks that the woman was a bit loopy and accidentally killed the the child, which caused her to snap even more, which would explain her behavior in a way

i think that the child is gone, which is sad but hopefully the truth will come out soon enough and maybe something good can be learned from this.


i don't understand how people can do terrible things to adults, much less children. it makes my stomach hurt something awful

Im curious to hear what every one thinks of all the protesters that sit outside their house all the time. Their have been reports made to the police that they were banging on the garage and picking fights with the family.

Casey Anthony even called the police demanding that something be done about the protesters. That upset me a bit as it seems these protesters have had a bigger influence on her then the disappearance of her own daughter.

What does everyone think?

I too have been watching this from the beginning.

Casey is no doubt a bit of sociopath, but I don't find her that much different than many self centered young people today.

I believe she was careless and made a mistake that resulted in the death of her child. Caylee was probably left alone and perhaps drugged and maybe got in a position where her airway was cut off and she died. By the time Casey found her she was probably long dead and Casey like most human beings went into self preservation mode.

Everybody says she didn't call 911 for her child, so she must be a monster, but I disagree with that. She knew her child was dead and she knew it was her fault and she panicked. Why does everyone have to be a monster because they don't turn themselves in?

Obviously she has some other mental issues and she probably struggled to come up with a believable story while she was covering her tracks. I think she just put it off like many of us procrastinate making decisions until she could no longer keep her secret.

I don't think she's a monster like Nancy Grace does, I just think she's a screwed up chick that made some disgustingly bad decisions that resulted in the death of her child. Now she needs to pay the piper.

All she had to do is come clean and she would probably get a 10 year sentence and be out in 5-6 years. Problem is for somebody that young a 10 year sentence seems like a lifetime, so this is why she may not tell the truth ever.

There are many reasons why Casey Anthony is percieved as a monster. Not calling 911 is just one


people perceive her as a monster also because of the possible ways that Caylee could have been killed( assuming she is dead). Possibly neglect, possibly abuse, who knows. She went out partying after her daughter went "missing" and gave an appearance that she couldn't care less.

If she is alive there is a possibility that she is in danger. There is a possibility that this kid was sold into a child porn ring.

Not to mention the fact that Casey has lied through out the whole thing. If there was a chance that Caylee could have been saved before we can just about forget about it now as Casey has sent the police on a wild goose chase with so many false leads.

That is why she is perceived as a monster. No just because she didnt call 911, but all of the above plus lots more.

Dont forget the chloroform. Why does anyone need chloroform?
Maybe an overdose of Benadryl or something but chloroform?
Kills the accident/manslaughter theory if you ask me.
With the chloroform evidence I believe they have a premeditated murder 1 case.

yeah that is true. The chloroform makes it hard to believe that it was an accident as chloroform isnt really a house hold item. Atleast not around my house.

It is the mind that is crazy, it just comes in different wrappers. I have seen 18 year old girls do devastating things.

I didn't ask if that is what a killer looks like. I asked If this is the face of a killer. meaning is this a picture of someone who has killed her daughter.

It wasn't meant to suggest that her face represents any and all killers. Believe me, I know better than that. It was meant to be a pondering of whether or not Casey killed her daughter.

I hope that clears things up. I apologize for not being quite clear in my previous post.

I thought chloroform can be used to sedate people?

I've heard several people mention that it use to be very common that some people would use alcohol or other substances to calm down children so they will sleep.

I thought the leading theory was she used chloroform so she could party or be with her boyfriend, but probably accidentally overdosed her child without realizing it until she returned home or back to her car.

Wasn't there a similar theory for the child that was abducted in Portugal a couple years back? The parents were out to dinner and they came back & claimed she was gone, but some investigators thought the mother may have drugged the girl to keep her from getting up while they were out, but again she overdosed and they dumped the body. Of course the case was never solved.

Yeah as far as I know that is the main purpose for it. knocking people out I mean. I don't know if I have heard that people used to use it on their children just to help them sleep but I suppose that its possible.

If that is what happened here I find that wrong in so many ways. Well the whole situation sucks, but I think you know what I mean. Its not that hard to find a baby sitter if she was wanting to go out. She could have gotten her parents to watch caylee if she wanted to. the thought of using chloroform on a child then leaving them alone is really disturbing to me.

As for the case of the little girl who went missing in portugal (Madeline Mcan I think) I am not sure about any theories. That probaly was a theory but I just dont remember.

I do remember that they suspected at one time that a guy saw them on the beach and followed them to their hotel to see which room they were in and he supposedly waited until the parents left, then knocked on the door and when Maddy answered he kidnapped her. That was one theory I sort of remember.

It seems like they had found trace amounts of her blood in her parents car too. but I dont think they ever decided for sure what happened.

I have always thought the following things about this case.

When I heard that she had stolen checks and went on a check writing spree with those checks, plus her behavior, it reminds me of a person who is manic. They think they are thinking clearly, but in actuality they can't carry through too many thoughts, their mind keeps jumping to other things.

I think that she went into the mall to buy or return something and left Caylee in the car way too long, although that wasn't her intent at the time and the child died from the heat.

I think she then compounded her problems by getting rid of the body. IF I were her and I wanted to hide a body that would never be found, I would take it to where the alligators would have their way with it. I know that is horrible, but it would explain why they can't find the body.

I think the chloroform was to clean the car up and not to knock her out.

As for dancing in the clubs, one of the things that manic people do when they are in full blown mania is become promiscuous and do things like party all night, bounce checks, etc. This would also explain her behavior.

Mania is not grounds to say she was temporarily insane at the time or to plead not guilty by reason of insanity.

This is just what I have always felt happened. I hope I am wrong.

Yeah I hope you are wrong too. I hope that somehow this little girl is still alive and safe. I hope some how that she is away from any possible danger. I hope that she is with someone who is doing no harm to her and is spoiling her. I hope so. But I fear you are right.
