US game designer blasts into space with DNA cargo

The digitized DNA is part of "the immortality drive," a kind of time capsule that will also include a list of humanity's greatest achievements and personal messages from Earth. The program will be stored on the space station in case calamity were to one day wipe out the planet.

I was just having a read through of a normal space article that had the word DNA in it, and I got to the paragraph I posted above and it sort of shocked me. Looks like we have some doomsdayers in high places as well. .

one of the people who's dna was blasted into space was TNA wrestler (and american gladiator) matt morgan... they have been making a story of it in teh last few weeks.

(i dont know if it was just his, or if their were more samples)

One of the journalists over at Kotaku.com is sending his dna up as well. So when aliens bring back the human race, we'll all have his glorious hair.
