What can we honestly expect IF an ET civilization exists?

Really think about it. This is a species from a completely different planet/system. What would their customs be? Would they be unimaginably different than ours or somewhat similar?

What if humans have things that ETs don't? Such as video games or fast food restaurants or even athletics. People mistakenly think of ETs as just aliens with big heads and grey skin color but are basically like humans.

Something to think about.

if such being do indeed exist, i'm sure there are infinite ways that we can compare/contrast our similarities/differences

they could indeed have customs beyond anything we could comprehend. things that to us seemed kind of scary could, to them, be something deeply meaningful and spiritual.

i've often wondered things like if they would have forms of entertainment or understand the concept of slapstick humor and fart jokes. if they do, i think our societies will find a successful union and i will welcome them with open arms...and then sit them down right onto a whoopee cushion. oh, and how we shall laugh. it will be merry

i've also wondered what if there were intelligent creatures that lived on a planet with different environmental conditions such that the atmosphere was more dense so that sound wasn't as easily transmitted. what if instead of evolving some sort of strange telepathy or something they just developed naturally more powerful lungs and vocal cords? so to them they would sound weird and possibly comically different when they got here but if they spoke to us it would be the loudest yelling we'd ever heard.

then i also wonder about if such creatures existed, do they pursue some type of spirituality or have a belief in something like the idea of "God"

or what if they were energy beings and they constantly cracked jokes on us about our physical bodies because to them they were silly or ugly or smelled weird.

I mean us humans can't even understand our own cultures. Aztecs sacrificed humans and people are extremely terrified from it. What if ETs cover themselves in their feces at birth? Or if they eat their family after ones death?

Freaky alien sex.. That would be something worth trying once.

Oh, but we're moving so FAST !

It began with, ' Are we alone in the universe ? '

Then .. ' my mother saw a ship in the sky but investigators said it was a weather balloon '

Then MORE said they saw things in the sky

Then the little grey creatures

NOW, we're being programmed to accept that we've moved PAST speculation ..

and now we're being programmed to ACCEPT a space alien invasion is imminent


to the point we're being programmed to consider what an 'Extraterrestrial civilisation ' would be like !!

Wow. I can't even recall seeing any kind of proof that extraterrestrials exist !

Yes i did because I'm not going to make the assumption of saying they do exist or implying that.

Oh well.

I assume that IF an intelligent race existed it would be completely different to ours and we would find their customs odd.

There is no way to completely know what to expect of an alien culture. Even those who were possibly abducted cannot tell us the answer to that question. It will be a learning experience for everyone involved.
