Denninger says US is 24-48 hours from collapse

Karl Denninger is a respected trader and economist here in the US. He says the US government needs to step in now or we will collapse within 24-48 hours due to the frozen credit market:

I've been watching that forum too. KD is quite knowledgeable. If what he says is true, this is our last chance at really good panic-sex.

So in 24-48 hours when everything is still intact....what will the story be then?

Well RF, it helps to understand a problem before forming an opinion on it. It's a simple matter of credit availability and commerce grinding to a halt. Will this happen? I don't think so...I believe there will be another stick save or some sort that works for a few more days or even weeks.

Please, I beg you, we need to discuss this in one place.
