I was wondering if anyone has heard of an illness that is caused by the sun/heat? For the past few months I've been getting ill when walking around in the sunlight. I thought at first it might be dehydration but drinking a lot of water doesn't help. I'm not that worried about it but it is just so darn uncomfortable.

Well, here's some info on heat related illnesses and "sick feelings".

Web MD: Heat Related Illnesses

Heat Related Illnesses

I know if I get too hot or stay outside too long in the sun, I get headaches and get nauseous and light-headed/weak feeling.

It usually happens within 5 minutes of being out. Is this because I'm a bit overweight?

I would think, if anything, it would be medication related if it happens that quick. The article I listed cites antidepressants, antihistamines, diuretics, and antipsychotics that can have a negative reaction with heat/sun.
