I think Communist Russia will make a return, and to be honest ((((((don't go after me, CIA))))))) it will be good.

I do not think that Russians miss Communism (or whatever the name of the system that R.I.P) - they miss Empire. Power, respect, territories - this is why Stalin is popular but Lenin/Trotsky much much less. And if Russian federation will become something else then controlled "democracy" - it will become or monarchy or even fascist state, not communistic anyway. Remnants of Communist ideology exists only in old generations and with poor life span sadly they are dying out very fast.
This is my opinion. However maybe one of Russian/ex-Soviet ATS posters will prove me wrong.

Russia is an autocratic capitalist state. It's not going back to communism.
It doesn't have "communist" roots, it's roots are in fact monarchial.
There was mention in the debate today of Russia being "evil" - I think America is just looking for bad guys again.
Russia is bailing out Iceland's banking system for instance, but that hasn't gained mention.
As of the 9 July data, available at the project’s website, 178,881 people voted for Stalin, the total number of the respondents being 1,453,390. The poll is conducted by the Rossia TV channel, Russian Academy of Sciences’s Russian History Institute and the Public Opinion Foundation.
