Nightmares and their meanings

I recently have had a dream that I cant forget, and I thought I would ask some people here for their interpretations.
In the dream, I am standing in my driveway and I can hear a dog relentlessly attacking a man, but when I try to get my Dad to help, he insists he cant hear it. So I go to help on my own, but suddenly reappear inside my house with a person in a dark cloak with a plastic doll's face standing over me, and I'm laying down in front of it with my head touching its feet.

I wasnt quite sure where to put this, but I thought it best fit in the Paranormal section.
