Using NLP for good: Anchoring

Lets put it this way guys, I could really anchor some sympathy and maybe some empathy here,.. I know NLP and I could easily manipulate people into feeling my pangs of pain because I couldn't afford to keep my websites running, and if I were really evil and manipulative I could have been evil and used foresight to obtain enough money to keep it running instead of using it as an example of anchoring in a different way.

Sorry I'm a bit sour as to all the negative attention that NLP has gotten recently, I plan on illustrating the uses of NLP more constructively in the time to come ... but honestly, .. it's just communication, it isn't devious, is it?
