Quote from The Watchtower Publication for Jehovah Witnesses (and the bible I guess)
"....5. Fear of the Dead: The dead cannot do anything or feel anything. We cannot help them, and they cannot hurt us. (Psalm 146:4; Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10) The soul dies; it does not live on after death. (Ezekiel 18:4) But sometimes wicked angels, called demons, pretend to be the spirits of the dead. Any customs that have to do with fear of or worship of the dead are wrong.Isaiah 8:19. .."
Hey! so spirits are fake and the boogie man is real! Im so glad SOMEONE showed me the answer to my age old question.
Also in this issue...!
...The trinity
....Why you are defying God by celebrating Christmas and Easter
...And much much more

On the first page we get all the answers to all the questions of religion! Isnt this great. No Wonder why Jehovah Witnesses are practically knocking my door down to tell me the Truth.
Wow!
So do you think they have all the answers?
or is this group led astray by coruption and mind control?

This is the page I was reading from
www.watchtower.org...

Home of the one and only
www.watchtower.org...

If they are so sure of their beliefs, why are Jehovah's Witnesses not allowed to read "apostate literature"
and discouraged from worldly connections?

The Witnesses believe that when a person dies you go into the ground to await the resurection. Your "soul" doesn't go to heaven or hell.

Reread what you posted thinking about that and you will see that what they are saying is that any being appearing as a dead individual is a demon, fallen spirit, not the individual.

They discourage associating with "non-believers" because of a scripture that states "bad association spoils useful habits", don't remember the passage, but it's pretty self explanitory.

What they mean by apostates are ex-witnesses that print comments that go against their teaching.

Any questions, I'll try to help, but it's been a long time.
