I hear they take a given equasion that would normally take the life of the universe to calculate, but they use parralel universes to come up with the answer. I assume that having infinite computers to calculate a seemingly infinite equasion this would work. Does anyone know anything about this, and if so how far off are we from having them?

boy are they wrong. one of my goals is to have a quantum computer in every household before 2082. a little extreme, but you see my point about making these all the more common.

QC's are wonderful pieces of technology.
