Possible test for Time Travelers

I have struggled for several days now on how to word this as to cover as many of the possible/probable questions that may arise. Given the genre of this website and the combined average high intelligence of the members, it has taken a while to put this in a coherent form. Even having taken that time, I am not sure that I have done so properly, so here it goes. Let’s say that there indeed are Time Travelers out there/on here. Some have posted on here claiming to be such; others such as John Titor have posted elsewhere. I am sure however that there is a future for this or like websites and this history can be accessed by those in the future. Now that being said, I believe if given the proper set of instructions, a test can be conducted. Those that claim to be travelers want people to believe in them. Well if you pass this test, I will back any claim that you may make about being a time traveler. In a few days (up to a week) I will post the test. This will give all time to ask the questions, state how this or that will be an issue of failure or any thing else that will cause this to fail. I believe though that I have thought this out to a point where it can succeed, IF there are travelers out there. The test will basically be bring one of 3 items that I ask for and at a predetermined time, meet me at a set of coordinates. The time will be one hour after posting the test items. Unless the traveler is willing, there will be no conversation. Show me the item, allow a cursory examination and leave if you desire.

There are those that will say “an hour isn’t enough time”. For a time traveler, an hour is MORE than enough time. Some will say “our concept of time is different than yours”. If you’re a time traveler and you have spent ANY time in our time, then you understand how we reference it. The same goes for the coordinates. I won’t give an address; I will use Google maps or some other online based mapping, to get the coordinates from. This would be available to any in our present time or any time traveler from the future. The items will be such that given a significant amount of time it/they could be duplicated currently, hence only an hour is being given. They won’t be technologically based, but ordinary items that don’t currently exist in this time. It will be something that could readily be picked up just about anywhere, in the future.

Nothing I am proposing will cause a distortion in the Space/Time continuum, a temporal earthquake, or a Paradox. I am not asking for some distant relative, nor will I keep the item. I sit on the fence when it comes to Time Travel. If I believe that it is possible in the future, then I have to believe that it is possible in our present, as it is their past and their road to navigate as they see fit. Therefore this is for my own belief, my own realization of the world around us and for my support and loyalty to that individual that passes the test.

Well, there it is. I will attempt to field any and all questions as time permits. Let’s see what happens next

Seriously though, we are travelling through time right now sonce the Earth is still spinning. There is just no way to go backwards...yet. I highly doubt that you will find anyone who will ever be able to meet your criteria, and if there was, it would come in the form like above since they would already have access to the answers in the future to respond to you in the past...I think that makes sense...

Ahh yes but they are not questions, but Items, Something tangible but not technology. I dont want to disturb the universe

I like where you are going with this idea (although I don't think anyone will take you up on it).

Thanks for the ideas, I have 3 such items in mind for the Test. All the TT has to do is show me one of the 3, let me have a quick look at it and then give it back. Any one of those 3 will pretty much prove to me that He/She is legitimate
