We're now entering the phase of this depression where the evidence begins to mount that unemployment is spiking more than official reports. I still
predict we will see unemployment rates hitting 10- to 12 percent by the first quarter of next year.
And
these kind of stories are going to become more prelavent.
Tent cities, displaced homeowners who are likely jobless doing what they can just to survive.
Of all the doom and gloom predictions made on ATS, a Second Great Depression (or Greater Depression) is the one that is panning out, unfortuantely.
Realize nothing is secure. The government will not be here to help you because unlike in the 1930's, our government is overspent. So it really
can't create artificial jobs for the ranks of the unemployed.
We are seeing the transformation of American society from Republic to Socialist -- complete with the blessings of both parties and the prayers of a
debt-ridden public.
OKay...I'm off my soapbox now.
