The other night I was a sleep... Swore I woke up and looked at my digital alarm clock and the time said 6:66... I laid my head back down looked at again and it said 5:14

So.... apparently I was dreaming at the time More than likely, Did I wake up after I saw 6:66 and saw the real time? Or was I dreaming the whole time and remembered it but failed to realize that I was dreaming at the time?

huh? head... spinning... must... there.
ok

obviously there is no way you could have seen the clock produce a 6:66 without some degree of hallucination. i mean, you were there in kindergarten when they pulled out the big clock with the big hands, right? sorry for being an ass. just trying to give you a giggle. but if your ears are turning red...then, im sorry.

the real question you should be asking is why you would see such a figure. what kind of influences are you allowing to intrude upon your life to force you to hallucinate such numbers? im guessing that the digital clock's numerical color is red.

lemme try answering your ???'s, one at time.

"So.... apparently I was dreaming at the time?" you may have had some post-REM sleep imagery lodged in the imaging centers of your brain.

"More than likely, Did I wake up after I saw 6:66 and saw the real time?" You were probably partially awake when you saw the triple six, and as your brainwaves switched gears (from delta to beta), you began to realize that the clock really said 5:14

"Or was I dreaming the whole time and remembered it but failed to realize that I was dreaming at the time?" oh no not again... head's spinning like a top! ok. you probably woke up since you remember putting your head back unto the pillow. when you looked at the clock, your brain decided to cancel the order to switch into beta waves, thus putting you back into delta-wave sleep mode. in short, you probably woke up for half a second and went back to sleep upon realzing the time. a common happenstance.

but seriously. I would recommend that you stay away from that gothic stuff, for your own good.

I would say you were dreaming.

Does the number 6.66 or 66.6 etc. make you nervous though?

I've seen my digital thermometer show up as 66.6 a few occasions and sometimes I get change back in the amount of 6.66 which sometimes will make a cashier give a strange look. I've even entered a house where the lights were all glowing red instead of white. (That was freaky until I figured out there was a power problem when I saw the red glow in the refrigerator but heard a low hum.) Seeing 6's doesn't seem like a big deal now.

I think you dreamt that you looked at the clock and it said 6:66, put your head down in the dream, and then woke up and looked at your real clock like a double take. You might have realized that the 6:66 reading wasn't right, and if you stayed asleep after that then your dream could have become a lucid dream. What you described isn't a lucid dream though, because you never concluded that you were still sleeping during the dream.

What really sucks is when you have a lucid dream, and you try to change it but you can't. I had this dream that I was on a fishing boat with some old geezers and I knew I was dreaming, so I went over to one of them and was like,"Hey you old bastard! Turn into Keanu Reeves!", but the old guy just looked at me funny and said "No!". Either I have bad control of my dreams, or I invaded some old guy's fishing dream and told him to become Keanu Reeves.

lol omega, I'm not gothic in anyway

"the real question you should be asking is why you would see such a figure. what kind of influences are you allowing to intrude upon your life to force you to hallucinate such numbers? im guessing that the digital clock's numerical color is red. "

I dont know why I would see that number, Im just a normal guy, I go to work and come home everyday just like everyone else..... And the clocks numbers were green not red....
