I must admit when I saw this I thought of Star Wars and the spy droids used by Darth Maul (on Tatooine) and the Empire (on Hoth). I can also see this amazing technology being mistaken for UFO's and "rods". Time will tell...

I saw something on this before(a couple of months ago i think)

They had another cool one that mimicked a seagull and another that flew like a hawk.
