My one and only UFO sighting

Hello..This is the first time I have ever talked about this because I would think others might look at me like I was either high or on something, I said in an earlier thread that Ive never seen a UFO well technically I have not and after Im done this post you will understand.

Its 1993, Im seventeen years old and its my last summer because im due to leave for the Army in September so no drugs were in my system, Its about 10pm and my buddy Frank and I are driving to a bonfire out in the middle of nowhere, The road we are on, which had no light was long and dark, I wish I could remember the street name but I remember making a left at Al's Hideaway which is now Genos Tavern but anyway, Im in a Mustang and im moving along at about 65 70 mph, Yeah I was speeding and out of nowhere I saw a bright light in the distance, I figured it was a Winslow Twp cop who go me on radar so I slowed down, as I slowed down the light sped up and as the light sped up I was able to observe that it was a single headlight, ok I figured it was a motorcycle but the light kept gaining on me so I sped up, very scared and going a little faster not much because i had no clue what was behind me, I tell my buddy Frank to roll down the window to hear if he can hear the engine of the motorcycle, he rolls down the window, listens outside and tells me he cant hear a thing,So I roll my window down and I hear nothing so im scared poopless right now and i tell Frank to get in and I sped up a little, I can only recall going about 45 or 50 mph at this time and the bright white light was basically on my bumper even brighter now and it was matching my speed, What happens next is crazy and I will never forget but i slowed down so rapidly i figured whatever it was it that was behind me was going to hit me in the back but no, The bright white light stopped dead in the middle of the road and shot straight into the sky, it was instantaneous, I said to Frank who was looking through the passenger side mirror and I said.."Did you just F*&^#$G see that, and he said yes. It was no motorcyle and to this day when i think about this story i become cold and shaky. We turned around and went home, There was no signs of skid marks or anything, Could it be a UFO i/we just saw, I cannot be 100 percent sure it was a flying saucer but ive never see anything move like that, I never got out of may car so I cannot say what shape it was, I know that it was dead silent and fast, Thats my story and to this day I still have not seen anything and I would love to.I Hope somebody can provide me with something other than what I think or maybe somebody has witnessed something like this.....Thanks

Nice avatar...and no need to point out you weren't on anything - even sober people see things.

I cannot give you an explanation, but from your story it would seem that what you encountered was one of several things.

It could have been an E.T. UFO, a UFO engineered by humans, you were high and don't want to admit it (which is absolutely fine, as long as you don't waste anyones time with b.s. stories), a bird (chopper) that was following you for whatever reason, or what you and Frank saw was [wow look how those two words mirror each other - "saw' "was" ] nothing close to what you described...

I'll bet the two of you saw a UFO, either E.T. or human driven...Not even a bird can stop in mid flight; inertia is hard to overlook on that one. I've seen Apaches shoot staright up in the air like nothing else, but to stop on a dime? No way...

Glad you are here to tell your tale...and BTW - what was your MOS in the Army?

Thanks for reading..I wish I was high then it would seem normal..It was just so crazy what I witnessed and I am really wanting to see something again and to answer you question my MOS was infantry...Thanks again for reading

You know, the thing that really caught my eye and I didn't mention before was the lack of sound from the craft...You were driving American heavy metal, so it may have blocked out the noise from the craft (especially if you had phat headers on it!), but that is more a point of notice than anything...

Good point about the sound of my car, At the time it was stock however yes Mustangs are still loud but I would like to think that I heard nothing but the sound of my car when I listed carefully but like I said earlier I heard no noise, I would love to get out and see another one and it looks like i have to travel west maybe out to Nevada however It feels good to tell my story though. HOOAH

To answer your question about me losing time..I actually never looked at my car srereo clock and never wore a watch at that age so I cannot say yes and I cannot say no either, I was too damn scared to take my eyes off the road and rearview mirror..lol..All I know is Im waiting for the chance to maybe see one again, I believe maybe these aliens are here to help so I cant wait....

Very interesting it is a shame all you could see was the light, but still very interesting experience. Could have been an orb. Flying Saucers are cliche and disinfo most UFO are NOT saucer shaped at all. just an FYI
