New Jersey UFO hot spots

Im here in crusty old New jersey, Ive been reading about so many UFO spotting in the NV/AZ area and I would love to visit someday however its not looking good, My question is this: Are there any UFO hotspots in New Jersey?..Has there ever been good sightings?..Let me know..I need something to do..Thanks

I hear that the Meadowlands / Secaucus area is a hotspot.
However, if you go to any of the more sparsely populated areas farther away from the city lights, you are bound to see something on a clear night.

It takes patients though.

He is across the Hudson in the Bronx.
If NJ goes up that high north you might see something perhaps.

No offense buddy but I don't agree. ONE video of a clear BLIMP surfaced from meadowlands area, that doesn't make it a "hotspot". In fact I've lived in jersey and new york city back and forth all my life and I don't know of any hotspots in NJ although I've always lived in the bigger cities.
The only reason the meadowlands would be a hotspot is because it's at the crossroads of several large airports and there's blimps very often that fly in that area so I'm sure many people would mistake tons of lights in the sky for UFO's.

To counter you friend, Just because there is nothing on *video* depicting the area as a hot spot does not mean it's not true.
And since "you" do not *know* of any hot spots, does not make it untrue either.
I was unaware that there was the definitive authority on ufo hot spots in NJ such as yourself. I would like to hear some of your own suggestions on where to look besides the proverbial hole in the ground.
I was merely referencing something I had read a while ago. A fact seemingly unbeknownst to my foil. But to your credit, this fact has been with held.
Pick up a copy of the Jersey Journal some time and read it. An article in there mentioned Secaucus as being one of the top in the state. Although to agree with you, It's not the best area as mentioned in the article. If I am not mistaken, Lk. Hopatcong took the title.
And sure blimps would be confusing to the layman, the instance I remember someone speaking about describes several luminous objects in a non descriptive formation making weird motions in the sky in Secaucus.
So to close. I would like to add that I do not believe that (cmd18B)
was asking for empirical evidence, but merely asking for a general direction perhaps to focus their efforts. Purely conjecture though.

So (cmd18B) not to detract from you question, Something else you might consider, is picking up a copy of WEIRD NEW JERSEY. Lots of stuff in there.

Well friend, when I said "I do not know" of any hotspots, I meant that obviously having lived most of my life in NJ and near and around the Rutherford area (meadowlands) at that, obviously if any surrounding area was a hotspot then I would have known about it, I figured you would be able to make that inferrence!
Secaucus lol that's a laugh, Secaucus is about 1.5 miles from New York City, so I guess New York City is a "hot spot" too then, but I understand you're just quoting some other source you've read. I just wouldn't pay it any heed considering as I've said it's less than 2 miles from NYC and we know what sort of night lights there are there with hundreds of helicopters, planes, blimps, what have you in the night sky..

As for Hopatcong, now THAT I would believe as I am currently staying somewhere not too far from there and it's more of an open sky northwestern/upstate NJ deal, in fact this area, around sussex county and such had several bigfoot fightings. And yes Weird NJ is the premiere magazine for all that sort of thing but I don't recall much UFO activity in that magazine but then again I haven't read a copy in a loong time.

Big foot!? Are you serious? I would absolutely like to know more about that.
I would guess a bear actually. I know NJ had that ridiculous bear hunt a while ago, because black and brown bears were encroaching on human territory. I remember a few incidents in another local paper where the bears were seen standing on their hind legs to get into bird feeders.
However it would not be the first time some next level stuff has gone on around our good old state. Personally I have seen and this is no exaggeration a 4ft wide snapping turtle in the Passaic river that looked more like a dinosaur that what it was supposed to be. I have also seen, and I know this is a stretch, otters in the Passaic river.
Back to the original reason of this post now. There is a phenomenon occuring all around NJ Including some of the more populous areas. These sightings also have nothing to do with watching at night. There have been a myriad of daytime sightings of what are commonly being described as ORBS. Silvery, sometimes black objects seen to hover in the sky, Dart away and so on and so forth. Mylar balloons have been ruled out due to the movement patterns or lack thereof. I have myself seen this phenomenon several times while outside enjoying a clear sunny day.
