Explosions Rock U.S. Embassy in Yemen; 16 Killed

Suspected militants armed with automatic weapons, rocket-propelled grenades and at least one homicide car bomb attacked the U.S. Embassy in Yemen's capital Wednesday, killing six Yemeni guards and four civilians, officials said. Six of the attackers were also killed in what the U.S. called a failed attempt to breach the walls of the compound.

Think its the real deal, no reason why it shouldn't be.

I noticed they didn't comment on how many attackers there was, only that 6 of them had been killed.
It would be nice to know how serious they were about getting into the compound by how big the assault was.

I also noticed they called the car bomb a 'homicide car bomb'. Is this the latest BUZZ word for suicide bombers or was there no one in the car when it exploded? (haven't been following much car bomb talk lately, so it could be an everyday phrase thats used, wondering what the purpose would be)

My thoughts go out to the families of those who were killed, glad it wasn't worse.
