Possible First Photo of Planet Around Sun-Like Star

Astronomers have taken what may the first picture of a planet orbiting a star similar to the sun.

This distant world is giant (about eight times the mass of Jupiter) and lies far out from its star (about 330 times the Earth-Sun distance). But for all the planet's strangeness, its star is quite like our own sun.

Perhaps the idea of a "Planet X" with a highly elliptical orbit around our own sun may not be too far-fetched.

Great find, however how are the fundamentalist Christians going to debunk this?

For those of you that don’t know, there are actually people in the world that believe that the stars are the “sons” of Abraham – not “suns”, thus there cannot be any “new” planets.

Well I guess they could brush it under the carpet along with the dinosaurs….

And as for Planet X – I suppose we will find out the answer to that one in about 4 years!
