Isn't it more to do with unhinged 'end time' christian fanatics attempting to create sympathy for their cause by inventing some kind of deluded persecution complex?

The most offencive thing I've seen in a while. Just goes to show how mindless the christian "religion" truly is. The Christian movement was at one time a cult.

And as far as I understand Jesus Christ has not stood up and approved any "christian religion". Jesus might have rode into Jerusalam on a donkey, but christians have their head up their ...

Christian means "christ like" doesn't it?

My experiences with JWs, Mormons, and other "cults" has always been positive, as in they actually practice what they preach, something I respect. Unlike most standard "christians" who spout the Bible, go to church, protest at abortion clinics, support war, wish for the "end times", hate gays, ect;

Anyone who claims to be a Christian and doesn't strive to follow the greatest commandment of all ( You know.."Love thy neighbour as your self".. the one MOST Christians don't follow ) is in my opinion NOT a Christian.

Then again I'm of the belief that all religion is a yoke on humanities back.

I didn't agree with the other stuff, but this I do somewhat agree with. Except rather than saying his death, I would say his life was the example, and he was not a sacrifice for sins.

Jesus says true believers will follow his example, and by following his example you will be saved. By embracing his idol, thinking you do not have to follow his example you are being decieved down a wide path.

When the rich man comes to Jesus, does Jesus tell the rich man to just believe? No, he requires the Rich man to give his riches to the poor. He says it is easier to get a camel through the eye of a needle than to get a rich man into heaven. If that same rich man came to your church, he would not have to do the same, just believe in Jesus. For wide is the path the church teaches.

God doesn't have to sacrifice Jesus to forgive you. God could simply give people the cross or some other symbol and say believe in this. Jesus had to come to the world to give understanding to people, and those who follow the path he gave will be saved. He did this even though he didn't have to, he died showing you the correct example and how to follow the commandments and how you can get into heaven. To say he went through all that pain as a superfical sacrifice that can "wash your sins away" is just a bunch of deception for the blind leading the blind. It's a wide path where you can do anything you want and just believe in some symbol and be saved.

Take a look at the story of Moses and the golden bull. Do you know why the people who were worshiping the golden bull were wrong? Because they had fashioned a false idol instead of embracing the teaching. They believed by following the symbolism instead of the teachings they were doing the right thing. You can bet the people who were smart enough to follow the teachings of the time rather than worshipping idols weren't out there doing it.

Take the narrow path.

Firstly the trinity is not a Bible teachning as admitted by the Church, it enetred Christianity in the 4th century, go research it.
Christ was sinless but not part of a trinity
Holy Spirit does exist but not part of a trinity
Christs death was a sacrifice for sins
Heaven and HellTdo exist but not as the Church teaches, the future Kingdom of God is a re-establishment of the Kingdom of God in the past - see Acts 1 and 3
Salvationthat you must be baptised Matthew 16 v16 and then approved by faith Galatians 3 v 5 -9

Please check your facts before judging and condemning others.

By the way, Christadelphians disassociate themselves from Christianity because of the Church's false teaching. Their teachings are more closely aligned to the brethren of Christ who have always been persecuted by mainstream Christianity. see Alan Eyre's book 'The Protesters'.

So that was the end of us. I wouldn't have minded if we just broke up of our own accord, but to be 'ordered' to do it was annying to say the least.

You're welcomed to come to my church anytime. If sinners weren't allowed to go to church the place would be empty. Church always helped me recognize what my sins were and gives me motivation to turn away from them and go the right way. I know that by accepting what Christ has done that I'm forgiven, but I try to do the right things to say 'thank you' for that great gift he gave.

ahhhhh....thing is, - over course i believe the thing is, - that there are churches, who and exhibit, promote, encourage and often insist that "members" follow along, often in cultish manners, words, etc. - right in yours and my hometown or very nearby.

Entertain yourself, find out, and visit some of these place, just so you know.....they shouldn't be that hard to find because often cultish folks can't stop talking about themselves or their cults....

Techincally EVERY religion is a cult. If you look at what the word 'cult' means, every religion is one. It's just that the main stream religions are thought of in a more accepting way then others.

But every religion IS a cult. That's not being mean.
That's just following what the dictionary says.

I walked into a haircutting place one time. I was of a clearly of an opposite expected ethnicity and gender. I drew some raised eyebrows and the pack of people continued talking. I asked how much for a simple cut, they looked at me and said only a number with dubious looks. I said, "okay, thank you, I guess I'll be on my way then..." because it was clear to me they did not want me there. Beware the haircutting shop cults as well. They're more dangerous too, they have scissors and mess with your head.
