Shape changing ufo

This video is quite interesting, the ufo seems to change shape after a few mins. Looks pretty real to me, i think its a kid holding the camera.

This is one of the few YouTube video's that gave me some serious pause for thought. This has to my knowledge NOT been proven to be a hoax as of yet.

Wowsers.. That is one of the most convincing UFO videos I have ever seen. First off I was unimpressed but when it zoomed in through the aerial - and just before that, seeing it's tentacle type appendages, almost like a black sun, I was sure it was something special.

It is obviously on VHS, and you can see the zooming in on the subject through the TV aerials on the roof showing that it is further away than that, as first I thought it may have been a bit of dirt on the window.


It may be a very, very, very, good fake or it may be real. Either way it creeped me out!

I missed the original thread, so am glad this was reposted. I had not seen that footage.

I can no longer doubt in any way that there are unexplained things flying in our skies. To hoax this would require a LOT of computing power and even then, I don't think it would look real.

ET or ours, who knows, but that thing was there.

It seems there was an unmanned balloon craze in Brazil where quite elaborately shaped balloons were being produced.

Thanks for the link. I guess this is another one solved. The object does not do any wild movements and does act like a balloon.

Hmmmm...

Balloon, eh? The pic of the balloon doesn't look like it's rigged to "change shape." So how do they explain the changing shape, then?

And yes, it DOES change shape. (The same angle of view shows a smooth, round edge, and then "tenticles" begin growing outward to rather long and starp points (not a whole lot like the balloon pic).

In the link, this "Shirlry" insists it was not a balloon, even.

So, no. This is NOT "another one solved."

It would take a lot of computing skill? I doubt that. Someone with a few years of after-effects under their belt could whip this up pretty easily, it's not exactly well textured, and the shape change occurs while the camera is going in and out of focus, making it easy to transition.

If you say so. I have worked a great deal in many programs (including After Effects), and it's not the easiest to keep a shape steady relative to the background with a shaky camera. All the more so in 1996 when this was shot.

I'm just sayin'.

I think the video is not a hoax in the sense that it is a realy film of an object in the sky, for the resons in that post. Its one of the most interesting videos i've seen recently (even though its old). There are some weird bits that don't make much sense if its a real video, the object dissappears at 3:34 and reappears in a strange way for a baloon.

If something is moving between dimensions for example.. it may appear to disappear here for a time if it slipped back into a different dimension than our own. Just an idea.. not a declaration or explanation.. just food for thought.

True that its definatly possible if were going with the crafy theory it could also be some sort of cloaking device. I have have this bad feeling it could just be a camera # up though. I don't know how to tell what sort of a camera it is or if thats posssible. Can anyone check that out?

It almost looks like one of those drones....which I heard were a hoax, but pretty cool video.

To me it looks a bit like the Shadow ships From the Babylon 5 TV series
