Hybrids. If in the future, grays revealed themselves...

and wanted their ' hybrids' to live amongst us, would that change the structure of our society for the better or worse?

Say hypothetically, the hybrids would be living here primarily, would we accept them as a new people? Or would prejudice, such as that suffered by minorities of all kinds creep in? I was thinking if anyone, it would be the hybrids who would be chosen to walk our planet (if indeed they are interplanetary) as my own theory is that they have been bred to survive our world.

Would hybrid's suffer the brunt of a society of 'pure humans' who've now forgotten their own petty squabbles out of fear of a new race? I know, it's very Alien Nation, but if it happened, I could see hybrid/human marriage being even more despised than gay marriage by some, and protests to keep them from legally breeding etc. Maybe that's why they're so quiet. Why reveal yourself to a world that would freak out so badly?

Just musing...

I think the Greys have deliberately bred the hybrids to blend into society and be unrecognisable. I think that if the Greys were (probably are) secretly integrating them into our society then if there was somehow a way of detecting them it would by worse than for Jews under Hitler. I am a very liberal person but I wouldn't want these aliens wandering around with horrific mental powers of control walking around the place. You'd have to put them in some sort of holding centre like a prison or kill them off. Harsh but jeez.

Wow that whole paragraph makes me sound like a total nutter.

I'm sure though they could produce some form of advanced tech be it a...oh hell, I dunno, a transmitter, a ray gun, a broadcast to brainwash us (mentally control us) if they pleased. So I don't think that's an issue at the moment.

I admit, if my new partner at work was a seven foot blonde with a triangular face, big almond shaped blue eyes and spindly fingers, I might be a little uncomfortable at first. Despite futile ramblings of the so-called enlightened, that everyone should ' get along' tolerate each other and not judge, such a thing will never happen due to the inherent tribal/animal instincts we have to 'protect our own'. I don't like it, nor do I support such a state of events, but that's the way it is unfortunately.

Why an alien hybrid would WANT to work for Value Village is another mystery entirely...

LOL. Yeah like I said before I'm a very liberal person but these things are just dangerous. If it was an open affair where there were no secrets being held etc etc then I'd be less bothered. But an alien species secretly integrating into our society- that is so messed up.
