Lien Chen has just been re-elected. I think there's going to be more trouble coming towards Taiwan now.

China will be royally now.

this guy really sucks. maybe people re-elected him cause they felt sorry for him because he got shot? i bet there was mass propagandha of china trying to take him out but failed, and for that he's a survivor. i don't understand how people can re-elect a guy that's plummeted the economy of taiwan to levels unseen for years. what a major douche bag

I don't think China will care as much. Because the missile referendum was voted out. So Taiwan has no grounds for defense build-up, while China can continue its merry way. The US has already said that they support Taiwanese self rule, but not Taiwan as a independent country. I believe if push came to shove the US would negioate with China over Taiwan's smoldering ashes.

You can be assured the WalMart smiley will insure that China does not rattle its sabers too much for now. But then again with all we have to worry about, it all depends upon the next quarter's balance sheet. China will never attack the United States until the NWO gets rid of the Second Amendment lock, stock and barrel, pun intended.
