Music,everytime,without fail.

Just put on some hammering acid techno, and I'm back in my happy place.

Or if I'm not near loud music, meditation.

peace love and unity

I agree with acidtastic.... music...

I just crank up my heavy metals (not gold and lead, mind you) and that sorts out my down-ness...

My kids usually do a great job cheering me up if I've had a bad day, unless they are the reason that I'm having a bad day, then, like AD
, I log into BTS and can always find something, or someone to cheer me up.

Oh, and I flood LateApex's u2u's with theraputic, ranting messages. hehe

Thank you so much for that - I've not laughed so much for ages. My ribs actually hurt.

To answer the OP - I used to cut out the funniest cartoons from newspapers and put them all in a file. Occassionally, if I was really low I'd look through the file and enjoy them again.

No - don't be embarrassed. I've just watched the little black pug sticking his tongue out.

Wouldn't have missed it.

I definitely agree with music.Just zone out for a couple of hours with some tunes. If ive got the time ill grab my camera and mp3 player and either go for a walk or jump in the damme van and cruise somewhere to take a few shots. That seems to centre me a bit.

I love having good conversations with people. That always makes my day. And I love meeting fun peaceful people who just love life and who are open to other peoples ideas without puting them down but still have the strength to believe whatever they want.

Music. Almost always, without fail, The Cure puts a smile on my face. Maybe its because their music sounds more depressing, than I am on my worst day.. Seriously "Homesick" makes me teary.

BTS. I also come onto BTS and check up whats goin on. Sometimes, I'll even have a U2U that brings a smile to my face

Pen & Paper. I write. If its something that I seriously need to deal with, like a personal issue or something (rather than someone cutting me off at the intersection), then I write.

Cell Phone. I call someone. Usually my Dad, or my best-friend. Either one of them, can put me in a good mood. Dad and I will talk politics, burrying my ex-boyfriends in the backyard (if thats the problem), and "How to deal with your mother with 4 simple words", all in about 5 minutes and have me smiling. The Best-friend will tell me what I need to hear, not what I want to hear...most of the time He's right and I'm smiling again.

Well as my friends and fam are all so far away right now, I turn to my 'other' friends ... Sex And The City with a cocktail.

Always does the trick, I love it and it takes my mind off everything else no matter what is going on

Usually I'll head out with my girls and fit as much fun I possibly can into the day or night. They are fantastic at cheering me up.

My girls are awesome
I missi them so *sniff*
